Latest Review: My first session with Kristina began with a fitness assessment, which she explained would help her evaluate what I needed. When I went back for my next session, she had a workout designed specifically for me. The next morning I hurt in exactly the right places. Her workouts are fun and I never feel bored. She is pleasant and motivating, but not in that annoying drill sergeant kind of way. I appreciate what she has done for me mentally and physically and can't wait for swimsuit season!

Latest Review: By my 55th birthday, my lifestyle had begun to take its toll on my body and my health. As an administrator for the federal government, I was traveling frequently, eating too much hotel food and not getting any exercise. I felt and looked at least 10 years older than I was and I knew it was time to do something. I joined a gym but felt out of place every time I went in. I tried one of the gym’s “trainers,” a muscle head who just made me feel…well…dumb and old. I moved to one of the popular women’s fitness chains thinking this would be better – it wasn’t. At least at the gym they had real equipment, but the women’s gym had mostly rubber bands and balls. Like women can’t handle real workouts! Over a year later, all I had done was waste my money and my time. I tried a well known national diet too, but I didn’t find much success there either. I went to the meetings and weigh-ins religiously but my results were inconsistent. I kept buying their food and stepping on their scales, but in nearly two years never maintained a weight loss of more than a few pounds. By the time I turned 56, I was worse off than when I had started. I had almost given up until I heard about Joe and Body by Design. The moment I stepped into the studio I knew things would be different. Joe listened to my story and designed a program especially for me. He helped me set goals – which at the time I honestly thought were impossible – and when we reached those he helped me set more! Three months after my 57th birthday, I won my first fitness competition! Me, a grandmother! I never aspired to do anything more than lose a few pounds! Latest Review: I have used Victoria Glovich as a personal trainer for the last year and a half. She is great at tailoring a workout to meet your needs and the best part is that you can do them anywhere. You do not need alot of equipment or time spent at the gym. She utilizes your bodyweight and I saw faster result then I ever saw at the gym. Her boot camps are intense, the personal one on one sessions are tailored specifically to me. She motivates with positive feedback, holds me responsible, and offers good advice on changing the way you think about exercise , your relationship with food, etc. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted to accomplish and worked with me to put together a progam that works fro me. I would highly recommend Victoria Glovitch.

Latest Review: I am a military vet and was in extremely good shape until about 5 years ago. I suffered a herniated disc in my lower back and another in my neck. Surgery was recommended but I decided against it. Since then I have had a lot of complications. For a few years I was barely able to walk more than a hundred feet. I saw two chiropractors and a physical therapist. I plateaued at about 50% better with what I thought would be permanent loss of range of motion, and loss of full use of my right leg. I could not exercise, gained weight, and finally gave up. The problems in my neck resulted in migraines several times a month. I started seeing Max about 5 weeks ago. I see him 3 times a week for half an hour of high intensity cardio and stretching. I also review nutrition with him and he keeps me on track. I saw significant results with regards to my back within the first week. I have gone from barely reaching my knees to touching my toes. I could not run more than 1-2 minutes at a time before, and now I have run 3 5ks in the last few weeks! Granted I am still around 13 minute miles, but one step at a time! I have also lost some weight, have my nutrition back on track, and have received several compliments about how my physical appearance has improved. I have only had one migraine in the last 5 weeks and that was during a week that I could not attend training due to an emergency. Results do not happen overnight. It can take a few months to build your body back into shape and learn nutrition to be able to lose weight. Like Max said, it took me years to get out of shape, it will take me some time to get back in to shape. But exercise, weight loss, muscle gain, and even bone and muscle healing get easier as you work on it. As your muscles strengthen, cardiovascular system improves, and weight decreases, these things put less strain on your body so that you can push yourself farther. It is not all about weight loss. Weight loss is the result of good health. Good health comes first. Max has shown me this. He knows how to push me to improve, to give it my all, while healing and restoring my range of motion. He has given me my life back in 5 short weeks. My wife and I are filled with joy. I can run and play with my kids, get out of bed in the morning, and complete work around the house without limping, losing feeling in my right leg, and eventual loss of use of my right leg if I pushed too hard. I plan on staying with Max for another few months to completely build my body back to good health and set me up with good nutrition and a good plan to continue to keep myself in good shape on my own for the rest of my life. Latest Review: Great response time. Totally understanding and knowledgeable of lower abdomen/pelvic floor issues. His experience has been crucial in helping me gain significantly more core strength (after multiple c sections) without tearing myself to shreds in the process. I feel confident using weights to train with Rick as he keeps form and safety a top priority. I've taken classes at the gym before with either no result or injury. I finally feel strong!
