FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer Free Consultations and Free Quotes for anyone interested in seeing what I can do for them. No project is too big or small. Folded card invitations usually start at $4 per piece. If you have 100 people at your wedding, you should plan for $400-$600, but I will always charge a fair price, and we will settle on the price before I start going. I do require $20 to create a mock-up - that way you can see exactly what they look like before the cards are made, then 50% of the total to get started on the project. Large Folded Greeting Cards $6, Small Folded Greeting Cards $4, Note cards (unfolded) $2 per piece, Mail Merge Setup $25, Printed Labels with your preferred font style (up to 200 recipients) - Clear or White labels $50, Hot Wax Seal +25 cents extra per piece, Mail Service by First Class Mail, FREE (client pays postage), Handwritten +25 cents extra per piece, Mail Merge, Label Printing, & Mail Service $75 extra.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first meeting, we will keep the conversation open and slowly narrow down the options. Some people know exactly what they want, while others might be more flexible or undecided on their final outcome. I am confident that together we can find the exact look you're going for!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Visual Art, so I know about different asthetics and materials. I have always loved hand-cutting, and handmade papers, so I can help decide what materials will work for your vision. There are so many options and uses for different papers. My versatility is my biggest strength. I can help you make your own invitations for a small fee, or I can do all of it for you - it's up to you!
