“A great time was had by all” – at a "hands-on" cooking class that Chef Tyler did for 16 future homeowners at Trilogy Lake Norman. We asked him to design a cooking lesson, advertised it to our future home owners, gave him access to one of the kitchens in our Model Gallery, and he just did his thing. WOW! The follow-up questionnaires rated the event 9.4 for “fun”, 9.5 for “Chef’s knowledge”. How do you follow that? Simple - We are scheduling additional “Cooking Classes with Chef Tyler!”
OMG I love this woman so much! The food at my wedding was awesome this woman knows how to cook some mean BBQ! I would really recommend her to anyone. And i will be using her again in the future!

My coworkers and I had a GREAT time during our cooking class with The Cook Nook. Catherine was very professional and knowledgeable , she was very helpful, and made the class fun. We learned how to correctly hold a knife, chop vegetables, and my favorite part, make homemade egg rolls! I’d recommend Catherine and The Cook Nook 1,000%!!
Terique Epps/Epps Bistro hosted a Mother's Day Dinner last year (2014) for myself and other family members. Everything he prepared was simply delicious and mouthwatering . I have been to several other events where he was the Chef and have never been disappointed. I would recommend him highly!!!!
I used Divine Cultural Cuisine for a private dinner party for 4. The Chef showed up on time with all the equipment. He was very careful and precise in cleaning his work area before and AFTER dinner. The party started at 7 pm and he showed up around 615pm to start prep work. Our menu was amazing and I am still full while typing this review. It consisted of Savannah calamari and crab stuffed shrimp as an appetizer. The portions were huge. We literally had to tell him to take the plate from us or we wouldn't have been able to eat the entree or dessert. I have to add, he applied some "orange sauce" to the shrimp that I literally would drink a bucket of. Chef Reeves is a saucier by trade so he knows what he is doing. Next, we were served a mixed green salad with a warm raspberry hazelnut dressing which was divine. Our main course was a surf and turf menu of orange soy glazed salmon and NY strip with mixed veggies and potato cakes. I don't know where to start. The steak was cooked perfectly. Salmon was cooked so well that I am troubled that I may never be able to cook salmon in my household again. And this orange soy glaze. He wouldn't tell us the ingredients but we tried to bribe him an undisclosed amount of money which he politely refused. I personally like grits so he made a side dish of his grits. They were the best grits I have ever tasted in my life and I am born and raised in the South. Just a wonderful meal from this point that was about to blow our minds. For dessert, might I add I don't even remember when he prepared it as we were stuffing our faces, creme brulee cheesecake with a white chocolate sauce and red velvet cake shooters with fresh fruit. The entire meal was better than I ever expected. My only regret is that we didn't know Chef Reeves and Divine Cultural Cuisine when we were getting married as we surely would have had him cater for us. We will be reaching out to him. We will be using him in the future and I truly believe if you have read all of this review up to this point, you will use him too.
We used Cooking with Joya for a corporate breakfast event celebrating our admins. It was delicious! Everyone commented on how amazing the food was and asked if we could use her again in the future. The answer was definitely yes! She was on time, easy to work with and very professional. Would highly recommend Cooking with Joya for their next catered event.

Chef Margo has been instrumental in helping us manage multiple food allergies as well as gluten free cooking. You want a nut/gluten/soy/dairy/egg free great tasting muffin? No problem! She has been so patient and our kids often tell her she needs to enter cooking contests. She has a lovely personality and we so look forward to the days she is at our home. We highly recommend her, especially if you want to eat healthfully!!
