This was a terrible experience. This person sold himself as having his own computer store and having expertise with Apple computers . I brought the computer to his house to save traveling to his 'store'. He was to replace a hard drive in an IMac. He later called and told me he had cloned and
installed the hard drive but broke the glass. He said it would take 3 days to get a new one. I called after 4 days and he told me he couldn't find one. When I asked why he didn't just go to the Apple Store he said it was too expensive. When I demanded he replace it he told me to come get the computer and go to the Apple Store myself. I spent the next 3 days trying to get the computer back. He finally brought it to my house with the broken screen. He had NOT replaced the hard drive like he said he had. At that point I just told him to forget it and that I would get someone else to fix it. Now I have a broken screen and no $ for my effort. He said he would eventually find a screen but I fear he has little to no experience with Macs. He surely has no customer service.
His company has no website. I still doubt he has his own store. The whole experience was a charade of misrepresentation, incompetence, and unprofessionalism.
