FAQs
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That I'm a regular guy. I've worked in finance, IT and accounting consulting for 20 years and as a result of slower business am looking to supplement my income teaching guitar, which I've been playing as a serious hobby and professionally for 30 years. So I'm pretty clean cut and safe - I have a wife and kids, two cats, etc. But, music-wise, don't let that fool you. I can pick up my guitar and rip out some scorching Jimi, mind blowing U2, Led Zepplin, the Police, the Who, Rush, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and lots of other one-offs here and there. Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Filter, Helmet, Hoobastank, Silverchair. I'm well versed in amps and effects and have a 12 string and 6 string acoustic. Can read some music and understand music theory, but mainly play by ear and tab/chords. My lead is heavy blues and I play professionally in a group called The Buzz Pimps I've started up with a friend. Check out our Facebook page for more and listen to some of our rough tracks. I'm playing electric lead and my bandmate is playing acoustic and singing. Some of the tracks are largely "studio magic," which sounds cool but obviously when you hear them does not highlight my musical abilities like the "normal" tracks do.
