Z & L was the only one of five landscapers who called back within 24 hours to set up a time to look at our property and provided an immediate estimate. The next day Zachary came to do the trimming of the shrubs and then a couple of days later placed the pinestraw down. Overall they did a beautiful job and look forward to using their services again in the fall.

Details: Residential • 21-50 shrubs • 5-7 feet tall

Zachary promptly responded to my request. He came to my house the next day to look over the job and gave me a fair quote that was well within my budget. Early this morning he arrived on time and began trimming large, overgrown boxwoods and azaleas on the front and side of the house. In the back yard he cut back invasive jasmine. He worked efficiently, carefully and neatly. When the job was completed, I was a very happy homeowner. My yard looks better than it has in years, and I look forward to his returning soon to clear out space for an herb garden in the back yard. Highly recommend Z&L Lawn Service.

Details: Residential • 1-5 shrubs • 5-7 feet tall

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

as far as my prices go I'm very budget friendly with customers but won't cut myself short with profit If anything needs to be hauled off the only fee I do have is a dump fee and a credit card processing fee which is 5% if a customer pays with anything other than credit/debit the processing fee is waved

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have quite a bit of education in horticulture as I went to CPCC for my associates with a major focus on turf grass health and maintenance

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started in landscape Maintenance back in 2009 working with my cousin on my days off from school to get extra money I loved it and loved being in the outdoors so much so that I started my own company this year I just got tired of working 50 plus hours just to make a decent paycheck for my bills.
