After serving my country, I discovered a new mission—bringing people together through incredible food and unforgettable experiences. Cooking became more than just a passion for me; it became a healing outlet that helped me cope with PTSD and find peace through creativity.

So friendly and just what my family needed. Being busy with kids ama activities, the fast food drive thru was too much. When we need some home cooked meals, while we are super busy, we have The Flavor Chasers come in and they cook, clean and leave a wonderful, tastey dinner we always enjoy!

I was researching catering companies for our small holiday party and came across Flavor Chasers. Chef was so quick to respond and to work with. The food she provided was so good; pasta was so creamy, chicken was cooked perfectly, and the cheesecakes were The perfect bite size. When we were cleaning up, everyone was fighting over the leftovers. I'm so glad I found them to make our party fabulous!

Where shall I began. Hiring Chef Porsha and Chef Alex, to make my surprise proposal, to my now fiance’, was one of the BEST decisions that I made, regarding this memorable event. I had another chef that was so unprofessional and unreliable and was JUST terrible. I fired that person and was so discouraged, being that my event was approaching, within 14 days. I had to start ALL over. I submitted my request for a personalchef on thumbtack and received several responses. The moment Chef Porsha texted me and we began conversing of my wants and needs for my surprise proposal dinner, I KNEW she was going to be MY chef. She eased my frustration and comcerns. She was professional, patient , and answered every text at a timely fashion. My fiancé is a picky eater and together, we put together a menu, that was AWESOOOOME. I would text her and ADD items to my menu and she accommodated my EVERY need. At the moment of the event, Chef Porsha and Alex, was dressed professionally, had the food deliciously and freshly prepared, served me and my fiance’, and the food was OMGGGGGGGG!!!..My picky eater fiance’ loved it ALL…They set the vibe with their warm and inviting personalties. We recently used Flavor Chasers to cater to my spouse’s birthday party in our home.
First, it was a pleasure to plan this event with Alex. It was within two weeks of the event, and Alex was confident she could make it unique within our budget. She took the time to meet with both of us and take input about a menu theme that was significant to our heritage but made it something for everyone. She was also very mindful of any allergies or dietary restrictions of the guests attending. Alex noted the space and equipment available in our kitchen/living area to accommodate preparation, serving, buffet, and bar area. During our ideas meeting, Alex made several suggestions that fit our requirements and did so on the fly, like a chef having to make decisions in the kitchen!
Alex arrived early and began her work on the day of the event. She is very professional, engaging, and fun. She maintained her professional demeanor but was willing to engage, talk to our guests, and explain what she was creating.
The theme was French comfort to honor my spouse’s paternal heritage. The menu was a charcuterie, baked brie en croute, and a variety of puff pastry hors d’ouvres, coq au vin, roasted slamon, haricot verts, potato puree, and a dessert of Death by Chocolate individual cakes. Everything was fresh, sumptuous, and prepared onsite from scratch. Alex ensured guests were well fed. Everyone was very complimentary of the food and Alex.
This event was a most excellent experience. The food was beyond expectation, but almost more than that, Alex is delightful, professional, and someone we will most definitely trust again to make occasions in our home delicious, affordable, and fun! We highly recommend Flavor Chasers and Alex!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer packages based on the number of guests to be served and the type of service. We're happy to discuss the details. Reach out and let us talk through your upcoming event!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the process of planning your event as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We typically start with an initial consultation to learn more about your vision - expected number of guests, venue details, date/time, any dietary needs, and the overall vibe you want to create.
After the intake meeting, we'll begin crafting a custom proposal with menu recommendations that align with your tastes and budget. As we get closer to the event date, we'll check in periodically to see if any details have changed and to maintain open communication.
The week of your event, we'll confirm all menu items, rental needs, and timing. Our team will handle all food preparation, cook on-site if possible, keep your dishes replenished, and clean up so you can simply relax and enjoy your event. We'll work closely with you from start to finish to ensure your complete satisfaction. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
