I have been working with Michael for 2 years. He is absolutely everything I was looking for in a personal trainer. Very affordable which has enabled me to keep up at least 2-3 sessions per week which is essential for me because without our scheduled sessions, I simply won't make myself go to the gym. I've tried many gym memberships, group classes, meetups, etc, etc, etc over the years and the truth is, exercising just isn't my thing. But it is Michael's thing. He practices what he teaches. The other thing I love is he is not one of those stereotypical, over-the-top personalities. He is encouraging but not in that "omg! you're doing sooooo great!" way. I find that very annoying with other trainers. On the flip side, he also isn't in my face yelling which I do not find motivating either. I'm not the "boot camp" type, personally. But, I have a feeling he has that in him if you need it, lol! :) Overall, he has kept me going these last two years and I owe him far more than he will ever know for that. I could not recommend him more highly. Oh, and yes, I am seeing great results!!
I love workiing out with Courtney. I wanted to get in shape and I liked the idea of working one on one with a personal trainer. I have lost pounds and body fat. Courtney also gives me nutritional counseling. I am in the best shape ever.
Mr Reed,is well qualified to do his job;he shows a great deal of compassion for his work ensuring his clients received the very best that he has to offer. Mr Reed is skillful,professional,interactive and punctual,the exercise packages that he offers are of great value.It's a pleasure having him as my instructor. When researching for Personal Trainers,I never thought I would gain such an experienced caring individual,he has been doing corrective exercises with me for a month now and I have improved considerably.I struck "Gold",finding this young man.I'm extremely grateful. I am making these ,statements,bc I'm a professional person,just retired from the Health Care Field a year n a half ago,as a Licensed PTA Assistant,so I have a great deal of experience working with patients doing strength training exercises and walking. Two years ago I was walking across the street when I was hit by a car. I suffered neck and back injuries and ended up gaining weight. Afraid of injuring myself I stayed away from the gym. Truthfully, I wouldn't have known what to do if I went. As a local TV reporter I have to be on camera and the weight gain hurt my self esteem. I hated how I looked and felt. I was winded walking up stairs. Then I found Hugo! He has been amazing. He has gently pushed me to be the best I can be and modified exercises to accommodate my back and neck injuries. In just two months I have lost 20 pounds and 4 inches off my waist. More importantly, I feel better! For the first time since my accident. Hugo knows his stuff and because of him I am seeing results and on track to becoming the best me I can be. If you're looking for a personal trainer Hugo is the real deal! I can't recommend him strongly enough.
Sherry is an AWESOME personal trainer. She is knowledgeable, personable, and extremely motivating. IShe is encouraging, and diligently works with her clients to achieve their fitness goals. Of all of the personal trainers I have trained with, Sherry by far is the BEST OF THE BEST!! If you want results....she is THE ONE!!!
I have been visiting Edge for personal training/ group classes for about the last 6 months. I highly recommend the gym for those looking to train with individualized support and attention. The gym has clients that have been training with the owner, Daniel, over the years, giving it a more personal feel. Conveniently located right outside of Uptown, Edge Fitness has an open floor plan (think former warehouse space), with all the equipment neatly laid out (weights, cardio, boxing etc). Classes and personal training sessions push you, regardless of your fitness level. Tip: Purchasing training classes also gives you access to gym facilities outside of your training sessions.
Candice has been the absolute best personal trainer I could ask for. I am seeing results I never thought I could have and feel stronger and healthier overall. She is very organized and professional and sets clear goals for me to achieve each month. Candice is always upbeat and encouraging during my workouts. It is a joy working with her!
Jay always makes sure to thoroughly explain each step of the workout, he takes times to cater to my needs and is patient. Jay's schedule is always flexible which is great for my busy lifestyle, and he never makes me feel rushed during our workout sessions. I always leave feeling like I've accomplished something and I'm one step closer to my goal! He always works out beside me so it doesn't feel like he's just standing around watching over me like most trainers do. He truly gives you a great experience!
Ciara is one of the most personal trainers I know. She really cares for your health and is very supportive. I would highly recommend Ciara ANY DAY! She easily can make your workouts cater to you and is very flexible with times. Also, if you want one of the toughest workouts of your life she can deliver, I promise!!!
Within week one, Dyzell provided great motivation. He is encouraging with pushing through the workouts and a great motivator - which exactly what I needed. Very patient, effective, GREAT rate and all around one of the best trainers I've ever worked with! I look forward to continuing! !

Having only worked out with friends in the past I was excited but unsure about having a personal trainer. When researching trainers in the area I was astounded by the prices and knew that it was never going to happen, until I happened to get a message from Johnathon at Lincolnton Personal Trainer. Not only was Johnathon affordable, but his messages to discuss goals and organize plans were prompt, and well thought out. Even after becoming a client, Johnathon will stay in contact with you regularly. Going to work out alone can be very intimidating to everyone. However, Johnathon makes working out a very relaxed and stress free environment. His number one focus is on the safety and well-being of his clients, and always explains the purpose of proper form and how it prevents injury. Johnathon also keeps up with the amount of progress you are making with every specific workout and will inform you when it is time to go to the next weight level. I hire Cullen as a personal trainer it was the best decision I've made in my life , he is a great trainer down to earth and result oriented. He will help you achieve your goals with a scientific approach . He will not rush result to cause you injury. I lost allot of weight with him my flexibility improves so does my strength. In the last 10+ years, Sydney is the only coach/trainer that I have found with dynamic range, sensitivity, genuine respect, and awareness to cater her training, whether you're a competitive athlete or just trying to get back in shape. She deeply cares about helping people get better/healthier, but she doesn't force it. She has helped me figure out what I want, rather than what she wants, which is rare in this industry where it's easy to cop-out and say, "take a few vitamins, do horrible workouts, juice cleanse, and you'll be fine." The list is endless, but I can't say enough about what a great trainer she is, and an even better person.
I love working out with My Fitness Foundation as it allows me to have a professional trainer, but on my time. So even though I set a time of 7pm if something comes up and I don't do it until 9pm I didn't waste my money or the trainer's time. The videos showing the exercises are great and the calls with my coach are motivating and fruitful. Highly recommend if you want a quality, results driven workout to fit your schedule, this is the one!
