John has been an excellent teacher for me learning classical guitar. He is very personable, his teaching skills are great, he is comfortable to be with, all of which contributes to making lessons fun. John provides great insights to music theory and technique for classical guitar players at all levels which stems from his wide range of music knowledge and playing experience. John provides an added benefit that not many teachers will do and that is he will provide follow up instruction outside the lesson room such as emailing additional information regarding your recent lesson, a procedure not in the books for various memorization techniques, supplementary music theory instruction and best of all reinforcement on how you as a student is progressing.
My son is the Einstein to music on the piano. He had difficulties with classical training so we went to Willy. My son thrived with his teachings as he attacked it from a creative stand point. He understood the concepts and looked forward to going for each lesson :) I too had him for mandalyn training. I was part of a string instrument workshop. I was able to learn and have a great time with the fellowship!
I have been taking guitar lessons with Jeff for 10 months. He is an outstanding instructor. He adapts his lessons to my capabilities, is encouraging but also challenges me to go the extra mile. He is extremely patient, when one approach doesn't work, he finds others to keep me engaged and feeling successful. I highly recommend Jeff! You won't be disappointed!
My 17 year old son throughly enjoys his lessons with Chris. It's the first time he has wanted to stick with guitar lessons and does not like to miss.
Mrs. Campbell has not only been a great music teacher to my children Keaton (7) & Chloe (5) she is also been a motivator and great inspiration to them through her gifts & teachings Keaton & Chloe had a chance to experience music outside of school during a Music and Art summer camp where Mrs. Campbell was the instructor. The camp offered lessons in Violin, piano, guitar, cello, and drum. Even though it lasted only a few weeks my children who have never played these instruments before completed camp participating in a concert where Keaton played a solo on piano & Chloe played the violin with a group of other string instruments. Both of them completed the camp with the ability to read music. After about a two-month break my children took part in music lessons again where they both chose the violin Mrs. Campbell was impressed that Chloe still was able to read music. A few weeks into the lessons I became weary with the noise I was hearing at home, having a concern that my children just were not getting it I wanted to pull them out. I expressed this concern to Mrs. Campbell and she encouraged me to continue to let the children participate as she explained to me that the violin was one of the hardest instruments to learn she felt confident that both of my children had potential and that there was a rewarding future ahead of them in the world of musical arts. After continuous lessons my children along with the rest of her student got a chance to perform in a variety of events. The students blessed us with a Christmas concert at our local mall, they performed at a meet and greet function at our elementary school, as well as showcased their many talents at a multicultural night. Mrs. Campbell does not just teach and instrut, she diligently works hands-on sharing her gifts and talents as she often takes part in performing with the children. I can honestly say that through the experience & teachings of Mrs. Campbell my children have gained a great deal of confidence in themselves and are eager to be a part of any program Mrs. Campbell puts together. I Give a Great Big Orchestrated Thumbs Up to you Mrs Campbell for All you do!!!
I highly recommend guitar lessons with Luke Payne. He is a kind and compassionate teacher with superb knowledge of guitar repertoire and technique. He provided me with individualized lessons to meet my needs, goals and abilities that were both fun and very effective! You will be pleased to work with this wonderful musician and teacher.
As an older, somewhat established player, my needs from a teacher are a little different in my mind and Brandon senses that and knows the direction I want to go into become more accomplished at guitar. He has challenged me and helped me to meet those challenges. He also alway gives me more than I can do in between each lesson which always keeps me going and let's me know where I'm heading. He also always teaches me something fun to play to go along with the repetitious things. I would highly recommend him to any student regardless of playing level.

I teach my students not only the mechanics of playing the guitar or bass guitar but also how to read and understand music theory. Music is the organization of time and sound, and there is much more to being a musician than just knowing how to play the instrument.
Blues, ragtime, slide, alternate tunings, chords, electric and acoustic -- I can teach it all to you. You'll even be able to read music after the first day.
