Christine (and her husband) are awesome to work with. I did most of my wedding planning and hired Christine as a "day of" coordinator. Even so, she helped me along the way with troubleshooting, asking vendor questions, etc. She was communicative throughout the process and even met with me the day after my wedding to discuss the event and hand over some papers (the marriage license!) that I'd forgotten. The event was not small (roughly 150 people), and Christine seemed to handle it with ease. If she was stressed, I didn't see it. I highly recommend.

Amy was amazing. We acquired her services for day of that really meant month of planning. Our only regret not having her for the whole process. We highly recommend a wedding planner and choosing Amy will be a great decision. Our daughter's wedding was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment thanks to Amy. We started planning our giant Indian wedding extravaganza about three months before the big day(s). The process was overwhelming at first. An event coordinator at one of our two venues saw our distress and suggested Jocelyn as our weekend coordinator. After our first meeting, we knew immediately that she would be a great fit - what a relief!! Jocelyn coordinated an entire weekend of wedding events for us, including a Friday night reception in Venue 1, a Saturday morning wedding ceremony in Venue 2, a one-hour room flip in Venue 2, a Saturday evening horse procession to Venue 2, and a Saturday evening reception in Venue 2. Before our wedding, she calmly dealt with a multitude of decoration and logistical requests from myself and the extended family. She was never flustered, always flexible with her time, and always extremely optimistic. She also had great suggestions for vendors and services that fell within our limited budget. The weekend of our wedding went beautifully, and while some minor details ended up falling through the cracks (centerpieces were different from what we planned - not that anyone but the immediate family noticed!), nothing major went wrong - which is a HUGE accomplishment for a massive Indian wedding planned only in 90 days. Many of our wedding guests told us it was the most organized Desi wedding they had ever been to. What an achievement! None of this would have been possible without Jocelyn. Her and her team are the absolute BEST!!!

I was planning a baby shower & wasn't sure what all I wanted to incorporate in it. I had a friend tell me about her mother (Michelle) who has done some weddings & shirts & the young Lady she works with (Iyanna) who has made beautiful decorations & gift bakets for me in the past. These 2 make a phenomenal duo & the shower exceeded my expectation! It was everything I wanted & more & the mother to be was beyond thrilled! I will definitely be using their services again for my future events.

I didn't want a wedding planner but everyone I talked to said that is the one thing they wish they had/regretted not having but I still insisted on not. At the last minute, I decided to do it but everything was planned so I still didn't see a need and couldn't justify the cost. I got talked into it reluctantly. I was WRONG! Shriine and her assistant were the best investment of the entire wedding! She kept everything going smoothly the entire night. She and her assistant were unobtrusive, yet always able to be found when needed. She reminds me of an excellent waiter at a fine restaurant that keeps your drink filled--you don't notice them but the job gets done and you never have to ask for them because they are always there! They did an incredible job and I cannot thank them enough. I will be calling her again when my other daughter gets married but this time it won't be reluctantly or at the last minute! Hats off to Shriine, I could not have asked for better which is high praise since I was kicking and screaming about it!!!

    My wedding day would've been a complete fail without Natalie Bell. I pretty much had an idea of what I wanted it to be like, but with her help, she was able to make my wedding go exactly as planned! If she wasn't there to coordinate the ceremony and reception, we would've been so lost. If I had to worry about any of this myself, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my big day. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner.       How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

      A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place.       What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

      When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

      • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
      • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
      • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
      • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

      Do you have a portfolio? Ask to see photos of their favorite weddings, especially if they’ve managed any that are similar to what you have in mind. This will help you see if you like their style and if their ideas seem fresh and creative.

      Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

      Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

      • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
      • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
      • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
      • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
      • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
