You can't ask for a better tutor than the one we got. We ended up doing in-home tutoring and the tutor was very kind and courteous and knowledgeable.
Kimberly Canty is awesome. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she knows how to put her students at ease. She motivates and encourages them while they work. She is just what we need.
Since my son has been getting reading assistance he is now reading more smoothly. He is using what he is learning to sound out words that he is reading and I'm not having to help him as much. He enjoys his session each week and loves it when he gets a great review from his instructor. I am so impressed with how my son is progressing that I have passes along his instructor's information to other parents. I will continue my son's sessions each week.
it was a delight having her tutor my son. She was able to develop a quick bond with him and teach him some methods. I wish we started the tutoring all summer. It was well worth the money.
Charles was an excellent English tutor for us and helped my son improve massively on his understanding of English Literature.
She made me very at ease immediately. Very nice to talk to...good sense of humor. She doesn't hold back on bad news which is a good thing. Didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but had good things to say about the future. Looking to see if what she told me comes true......but a very nice and kind lady. If she's accurate I will definitely use her again.
I teach music lessons for piano and voice and tutor in reading, writing, SAT, basic math, English and Italian. What makes what I do great is that I am still a student myself and a lot of these topics are still very fresh in my brain. I can, therefore, be able to tutor students better because these subject are fresh in my mind.
I am an elementary school teacher and tutor. I provide students with lessons that help them reach their full potential. I look in depth to my students' academic needs and interests in order to help them learn and grow. I can provide students with remediation support to help them meet grade-level goals. I can also provide enrichment lessons to help them build on what they already know.
I found Ms. Gallagher for my nephew who was having trouble in Language Arts class and with retaining what he read. She was always on time, she never cancelled, and he passed his EOG tests for the first time! Definitely recommend Ms. Gallagher!
I have been a teacher for 20 years. My specialty is English, writing and grammar, but I also teach math up to and including Algebra 1. I love teaching and people.
I've tutored students in art, anatomy & physiology, and also reading and writing.
Hi, my name is Taylor! I attended an online private high school and graduated a year and a half early with honors and a GPA of 4.22. Today, I am a student at Queens University of Charlotte. I am following my dream of becoming a theater major but am also double majoring in arts administration and leadership. I prefer to meet at the Morrison Barnes and Noble. However, I am flexible in a meeting location and can meet at a library, coffee shop, etc. I charge $25 an hour, but I am very flexible.
My daughter absolutely loved working with Mrs. Christman. She excelled in her reading and quickly moved up levels with ease. Mrs. Christman made learning fun and understandable!
Murray teaches and tutors English/writing at the university where I work. (I'm the librarian.) The amount of work he puts into helping his students never ceases to amaze me, and I've worked with him for 5+ years. He quite literally works magic with his students.
Dante was a great tutor! He helped me get through, and pass, one of my most difficult classes. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the material you're working on. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
