If Thumbtack would allow 6 star ratings that is what I would give him. Devonte is very professional. His communication skills were excellent. Devonte was on time for his appointment that I scheduled him for. Devonte came to my place ready and prepared.
Now lets get to the good part. Devonte meals were absolutely delicious. The appetizer was fresh. The entree (filet mignon) and sides were perfectly cooked and prepared. The dessert which is always my favorite was the best. The deconstructed apple pie was the perfect ending. Devonte plated presentation was on point. Devonte even educated me with some fine dining tips. Devonte was knowledgeable and will versed with his meal plans. Devonte will accommodate you by allowing you to customize your meal. I can't say enough about besides the consummate chef that he is he's also a pretty cool guy to chat with. He cooked for my guest and I, served our meals, supplied a complimentary bottle of wine and also had to go containers for our leftovers. Trust me you won't be able to eat all of the food Devonte makes in one sitting.
I definitely without a doubt would hire Devonte for my next personalchef experience again.

Devonte, Chantel, and their team catered our wedding dinner. The only word we can use to describe this is WOW! They were consummate professionals from our initial meeting to plan this event thru preparing the meal to the clean up afterwards. The food was unbelievable, not only taste, but presentation was beautiful. When each course was brought out, Devonte would personally come out of the kitchen and provide a description and a back story. They truly create a unforgettable evening for our guests and us.

Chef Devonte did a tremendous job. It was such a fun and memorable night. The food was amazing, and he was such a pleasure to be around (he gave us cooking tips, answered all of our questions -- and there plenty-- and was just a true pro). I recommend him highly ... in fact, we already hired him for another birthday dinner.

I hired Chefs Devonte and Shanta for my wife’s birthday dinner. They showed up on time and did everything exactly how we discussed. The food and experience was absolutely world class! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I will certainly be using them for events like this in the future.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of our Chefs will travel to a location of the customers choosing to an in-home assessment. This is where the chef and client will meet face to face to discuss said clients needs and wants pertaining to hiring us as their personal chef.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chef Devonte and Chef Shanta are perfectionists in their craft. They are both graduates of Johnson and Wales University. Between the two of them they have both worked in some amazing culinary atmospheres including Disneyworld, The Palm, The Grand Canyon Resort, The TIN Kitchen, and The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort
