Jimi was great. We hired him for our wedding and I like He was willing to meet with us multiple times to discuss everything that goes into a wedding. He and his wife were very helpful through the entire process. He didn't get a chance to play all of the songs we requested because of the crazy wedding we had, but the ones he did play were great. He plays a good variety of music which got everyone dancing at the wedding. His light show equipment is also amazing. It makes for a really fun environment. What we liked most was probably the fact that he is so down to earth, friendly, and easy to work with. We are already recommending him to others.

Fantastic! We had a small, casual wedding for about 45 guests and Carmen and her team did an excellent job. We were a bit untraditional having a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony and then a buffet dinner reception, however with this itinerary, my husband and I were able to enjoy the tasty appetizers with our guests and everyone could relax before the vows. The buffalo chicken pastry puffs were amazing! Carmen had a great team who she managed very well to ensure everything was ready exactly when it should be. The ladies on her team were so friendly and outgoing who kept things moving and food flowing constantly. If you are looking for good food, great service, value, and a relaxed (not uptight) team that will have fun with your guests then Carmen is your person.

I about had a heart attack when I couldnt find an florist. I had such a busy and hectic time at work that most florists wouldnt make the flowers, and the ones that could were so expensive! I felt so relieved when I found Charity and spoke with her. She's so sweet and expereinced with wedding so she could easily put me at ease with my worries lol. The flowers itself were gorgeous and I was so pleased with the bouquets and corsages!

Graduation party for about 40 people. Spoke with Yvonne! She came and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable! Yvonne & her Yesm came out & set the tables, chairs & linens up as promised. I received 35 chairs, 9 tables & a bonus of chair coverings!! My backyard was transformed into what looked like a wedding reception. I am most pleased! I highly recommend this company!!

I was a bridesmaid in one of Amanda’s perfectly run events. No detail was spared from the tutu on the furry legged flower girl to the color coordinated paper cones full of dried lavender at the sendoff. Everyone was well informed and given a schedule for the day. The thought she had put into planning made the day go off without a hitch. If only all wedding planners were like this!

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Wedding planning is a full-time job — unless you hire a professional to handle the hard work for you. The cost for a wedding planner will depend on the level of service you desire. The least expensive wedding planner option is day-of coordination, then partial service, then full-service.  

The national average cost for wedding planning is between $990 and $1,300. Costs are greatly affected by region, with rural or smaller-town wedding planners often far more affordable than planners in higher-cost cities. Here are some examples of the various levels of wedding planning and their potential average costs:

  • Day-of-wedding coordination: $800-$1,700. Day-of services can include the planner finalizing all details, creating a timeline, confirming vendors and overseeing all setup, day-of activities, and cleanup. The couple does all the front-end planning and contracts all the vendors. Time commitment could be about 15-25 hours, depending on pricing.
  • Partial service: $1,500-$3,800. Here the planner works with the couple from the beginning, helping contract vendors, creating a timeline, and overseeing all details of day-of execution. Time commitment could be about 30-60 hours, depending on package and pricing.
  • Full service: $3,500-$8,000 or more. Here the professional handles all wedding and planning details including working on design, securing rentals, getting the venue and vendors, and handling complete execution of the event. How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200.
