Carmen and her team are some of the hardest working people I have had the honor to see in action. We chose An Affair to Remember to cater our daughter's wedding in Morganton because she is down-to-earth and seemed very service-oriented. If there is something we need at weddings is service. Carmen's team exceeded our expectations. For the sake of simplicity I asked Carmen to prepare a buffet. Everyone said the food was delicious. As the mother of the bride I had no appetite (except for champagne). All the food was devoured. I feel I did not take advantage Carmen's full abilities by not asking for passed appetizers or food stations. She arrived with her team around noon and stayed until 11pm to wash all our rented dishes and clean up. By the time she left our kitchen was spotless. Bravo, Carmen. The only thing I would add for someone who has never had a caterer: buy your own ice. It was an oversight on my part and assumed caterers brought it. Thankfully I had a willing guest happy to run out for it. Another thing: We had a cheesecake wedding cake and I was worried about cutting it. Carmen stepped in and said she would cut it and set out the coffee service at the same time. She helped make our wedding wonderful.

I wanted to host a special 40th Birthday Party for my husband. I wanted to provide food that had amazing flavor and character. I wanted to treat my husband and our friends to a wonderful meal and Julian far exceeded my expectations. It was so nice to have servers and a bartender involved. You could tell he hand picked them for their professionalism and charm. I was able to truly enjoy the evening and trust that he would take care of everything. Everyone was amazed and the food kept flowing straight out of the kitchen all through the night! I know that my husband's business partner and others will be using his excellent service very soon! I wish I could have Julian host dinner every evening because that would be incredible. Thank you Julian, you are wonderful!

We needed catering of lunch and dinner for at least 30 days to possibly 1 year, 7 days every week for approximately 100 people with emphasis on vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and special diets. Many caterers with great reviews were easy to dismiss once they were interviewed. Carolina catering delivered what they promised: delicious food at a reasonable price with excellent personal service and a huge selection - even for those special dietary needs. I have used caterers throughout the country to take on this monumental task and no one has delivered the quality, variety, and scrumptious food Carolina Gourmet Catering has. I cannot thank them enough. And, by the way, we are 3 weeks into our project and continue to be very happy with the results. The only problem we have had was running out of food because people have been going back for second and third helpings because the food is so good! Make sure you prepare for this if it's buffet style.

Right from the start Sue was very easy to work with. She responded quickly to my questions as I was deciding on who to cater my daughter's wedding. Her confidence and accommodating manner won me over and I decided to go with Roosterdoodles for the big day. The selections to choose from for my menu were incredible. There was so much to choose from. I was able to choose just the perfect mix of food for the guests we were having. She made a trip to Clifton Park to meet me, see the venue,and offereed suggestions as to the table set up, etc. AS we neared the day, she responded with confirmations and asked if there was anything else she could help me with, like the cake and favors. I described the cake I was looking for and she said she could do anything. I decided to go with her for it, so she did everything. IShe offered some suggestions I did not want and I was very specific about what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I wanted. On the wedding day, she arrived with a small crew and delivered. She called to let me know exactly when she would be arriving and was on time. She and her crew worked the whole event, tending to the buffet and preparing the dessert table and clearing the buffet food. The presentation was gorgeous for everything, very classy. The mediterranean platter was unbelievable. The beef brisket was so tender, not tough like you often get with large quantities. The chicken was also incredibly tender and juicy, just perfect. The flavors of her sauces were mouth watering and obviously home made. The food was delicious. Everyone at my table all ask who catered. THey said it was the best wedding food they ever had. One guest said he rarely saw the quality of food that we had and he is global traveler by trade. Later that day and even the next two days, as I ran into friends and family, everyone commented on how amazing the food was. Some attended a wedding at a very popular country club in the area and they all agreed that my wedding was superior, both in the event itself and in the food. Susan's price was very reasonable, the service was excellent, and the food was out of this world. The cake was something like I had seen on pinterest. It was exactly what I wanted, even better! I will definately use Susan again. I can't wait to taste her other dishes. I may even make a trip to Cairo to visit her cafe. I know it would be worth the trip. I highly recommend Roosterdoodles for your event. You won't regret it!

Yolanda catered a corporate Thanksgiving luncheon for our team and the feedback was very positive. Delicious, moist and well seasoned turkey, great sides and a very nice set up. I used Divine Cultural Cuisine for a private dinner party for 4. The Chef showed up on time with all the equipment. He was very careful and precise in cleaning his work area before and AFTER dinner. The party started at 7 pm and he showed up around 615pm to start prep work. Our menu was amazing and I am still full while typing this review. It consisted of Savannah calamari and crab stuffed shrimp as an appetizer. The portions were huge. We literally had to tell him to take the plate from us or we wouldn't have been able to eat the entree or dessert. I have to add, he applied some "orange sauce" to the shrimp that I literally would drink a bucket of. Chef Reeves is a saucier by trade so he knows what he is doing. Next, we were served a mixed green salad with a warm raspberry hazelnut dressing which was divine. Our main course was a surf and turf menu of orange soy glazed salmon and NY strip with mixed veggies and potato cakes. I don't know where to start. The steak was cooked perfectly. Salmon was cooked so well that I am troubled that I may never be able to cook salmon in my household again. And this orange soy glaze. He wouldn't tell us the ingredients but we tried to bribe him an undisclosed amount of money which he politely refused. I personally like grits so he made a side dish of his grits. They were the best grits I have ever tasted in my life and I am born and raised in the South. Just a wonderful meal from this point that was about to blow our minds. For dessert, might I add I don't even remember when he prepared it as we were stuffing our faces, creme brulee cheesecake with a white chocolate sauce and red velvet cake shooters with fresh fruit. The entire meal was better than I ever expected. My only regret is that we didn't know Chef Reeves and Divine Cultural Cuisine when we were getting married as we surely would have had him cater for us. We will be reaching out to him. We will be using him in the future and I truly believe if you have read all of this review up to this point, you will use him too.

Wrap it up is sure to be the best hit food at a party or gathering. Starting with the spicy deep fried eggs, onto the buffalo chicken wrap finishing up with a mudslide little horn. I would choose WRAP IT UP at your next event; whether it be a family picnic to sporting event. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and overall great hospitality.
