After reading through reviews online decided to trust the online reviews. They came the next day, a little over an hour into the scheduled appointment window. This was a 2 story 1500ft townhouse that is cleared out after some renovations. No furniture to move. 13 vents with easy access. Initial quote was more than $1450+, I asked for $1200, settled on $1300 only after they detailed how they do it right with proper equipment and cleaning and mentioned taking stuff outside to clean off with a hose, two air scrubbers, etc. and that they could get started then. I knew it was seriously overpriced but between the convenience and reviews, I went against my better judgement and agreed.They did the job in 2 hours but nothing was taken out and hosed off. No air scrubbers installed. The videos they take are from their phones and not on a cord through the vents so you have no way of knowing if it is cleaned to your main unit past what they show in the first 3 feet. They showed a long vacuum hose they use but as I watched they never actually attached it and the length of vaccine it appears they go down is maybe 10ft?They all wore masks and didn't suggest I do the same or step out, luckily I had a kn95. They also were dropping their equipment onto my floors from a standing height. Full drills dropped as they went from one equivalent to the next. Including my newly renovated tiles, I was waiting to find something broken or a divot in the hardwood.After they run through the vents they have a spray bottle of some disinfectant but just uncap it and free pour some down each vent. I don't believe they then went through with their brushes or anything to scrub and coat the insides throughout.Overall, they say they do it right, but if this is right I have no idea what the other companies do but if you can get a job done for 1/4 of the price with anyone else - do it. As an aside I accidentally called a company that was located in Durham - Canada and their initial quote was $135 as a total for up to 10 vents, and another $10 per additional vent. And that was in Canadian (!) dollars. To give perspective on the pricing inflation, probably 5-10x what it should be for the job with summit.Would NOT use again.
