My fiancee and I attended Greater Works for counseling services and I have been literaly awakened to what my role is in my relationship as a man ! I am very pleased with Maida! She is a wonderful person and cares a lot about people. She took me shopping, cooked and I watched so i could take notes. I had the privilege of working with Jim over a period of months as I was going through a transitional phase when my youngest child left for college. Jim's coaching was very beneficial to me during this time as I was experiencing what some may call the empty nest syndrome. I felt very comfortable sharing my feelings and story with Jim. I had Derrick as my personal trainer for roughly a year or so when I was 18 years old. I had no knowledge regarding physical training despite being psychically active and playing sports growing up. Derrick took me to that next level. Wanting to gain muscle, overall size, and general knowledge, Derrick offered all the pieces to do so. Not everyone knows what that is, but Danny does! He understands the science and applies it for success at strength training and diet. I've gone way beyond barbells. Elizabeth has been my personal trainer for many years and I benefit greatly from working with her. When Eliza beth is training, her focus is 100% on me. She truly cares that I do the exercises correctly in order to receive the most benefit, and works to insure that I always feel comfortable with what we are doing. Elizabeth continually works with me on correct form with the result that I have developed positive habits of movement habits that have benefited me in many areas of my life, and made me feel stronger and more physically capable in daily life. Elizabeth is sharply attuned to how I am responding to the exercises and movements that she gives me in each session, and will immediately fine tune or substitute an activity to make sure I am comfortable. She seems to have a great depth of knowledge about different ways to reach the desired result and is always willing to make changes until we find what works for me. As I age Elizabeth continues to change and refine our sessions. If I have lower energy that day or am just not quite totally into exercising, she adjusts our activities in such a way that I still leave feeling great and with a sense of time well spent. One thing I especially appreciate about Elizabeth is her positive attitude. She doesn't chatter or talk about things not related to my training. She truly cares that I benefit from our time together and does all she can to make that happen. I also enjoy learning from Elizabeth about nutrition and positive life styles. While I have been training with her she has continued to increase her knowledge of ways people can improve their physical, mental and spiritual health. She is constantly learning and growing as a person, always bringing something new to our sessions. Michael Richards graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in kinesiology. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(CSCS), is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach (Pn1), Training for Warriors Level 1 coach, and is CPR/AED certified by the American Red Cross. He has also interned in the strength and conditioning departments for both the University of Massachusetts and Holy Cross College. Michael has also had experience competing in powerlifting and strongman. Michael is previously New Hampshires strongest man, and has competed nationally in North Americas strongest man. Michaels training philosophy is that everyone should train like an athlete. Each program that he makes is completely individualized to your strengths and weaknesses. He has had great success working with varying populations, from athletes to retirees. Michael attributes much of this success to his passion for coaching and his desire to continually learn and always improve himself.
