I have been visiting Edge for personal training/ group classes for about the last 6 months. I highly recommend the gym for those looking to train with individualized support and attention. The gym has clients that have been training with the owner, Daniel, over the years, giving it a more personal feel. Conveniently located right outside of Uptown, Edge Fitness has an open floor plan (think former warehouse space), with all the equipment neatly laid out (weights, cardio, boxing etc). Classes and personal training sessions push you, regardless of your fitness level. Tip: Purchasing training classes also gives you access to gym facilities outside of your training sessions.

I was super hesitant about doing personal training, as I'd really let myself go the past few years - and lockdown certainly didn't motivate me to self-improve. I hadn't properly worked out or trained in a very long time but reached a point where I knew I needed someone to help me get healthier and more fit and I couldn't do it alone. Cole has been the perfect trainer for this. He starts by fully understanding you, your goals, and your health history and tailors a routine that will help you achieve those results. I'm four weeks in and already feel such a huge difference not only physically, but mentally, and finally feel inspired to make myself healthier and stronger. Cole is a great motivational trainer and you can truly feel that he is supporting you in achieving success. One of the biggest upsides for me in his training is his emphasis on nutrition. And boxing is hands-down one of the most fun and strenuous cardio workouts ever!

I met with Zay and stuck with Zay😁. When I say the professionalism, the knowledge, care, and concerns he possesses, there is no doubt in my mind it is from the core of his soul. In the past, I searched for trainers who understood the level I was at in the beginning of my journey and not put me in the same box as everyone else. I finally found the right trainer. I love that my training doesn't stop once I leave the gym. Mr. Zay reaches out to me via email and / or text, giving me strengthening exercises I need to do while at home to help correct my knee issue. I appreciate everything he has and is doing to help me. I must say the workouts are awesome, and I love the push! A word of encouragement for all. "We must go through whatever it is we need to go through in life because when we try to bypass the process to get progress, we won't be prepared to be positioned!" ❤️ and blessings to all! I started with Cole in April. It had been a tough year with the ongoing pandemic and my lifestyle had become very sedentary. I needed a change and wanted to work getting back in shape. Having never worked with a trainer before I was not sure what to expect. Cole walked me through the process in detail in the introduction session and I realized then it was a great fit for me. It has been a great journey so far. Cole really pushes you in an amazing way and ensures that you are making progress. The weight training and cardio methods used are varied and it has been fun to try something new each time. The Boxing sessions are pretty fun too He is also focused on nutrition and checks in to ensure you are also eating healthy. So far I have lost 10 pounds since I started and I feel like I am on the right track to hit my goals. All thanks to Cole! Would recommend 10/10.
