Our 9-year-old daughter started taking piano lessons in April and we are thrilled that her love of music continues to grow under Amy's tutelage. Our daughter loves Amy, looks forward to each and every lesson, and is completely self-motivated to practice throughout the week (any parent knows that's a big deal) because Amy provides the perfect blend of knowledgeable instruction, musical enthusiasm, appropriate challenges, unbridled encouragement, and a reassuring calmness in showing her students that any struggle can be worked through together. Simply put, Amy is a wonderful teacher. We would (and do) highly recommend her to anyone in search of a music instructor!
I have been taking piano lessons from Julie Guile (Noteworthy Music) for about two years now. I love her teaching style; she covers a more broad perspective of music besides just reading notes on a page. Our lessons are truly an artistic experience which have challenged me to learn genre' that I have never tried before. We also cover a balanced amount of both theory and application. Julie schedules recitals and field trips each quarter. We played Christmas Carols at Regency Mall in December; traveled to South Dakota to tour the National Music Museum in the Spring; and perform recitals in her home, where we get the chance to meet fellow students and their families. I also want to mention that during the first month of lessons, I performed in downtown Omaha for the general public during a "music around town initiative" - Various pianos were placed around the city for all to enjoy. Julie has amazing credentials. The fees are reasonable. Her grand piano is a joy to play. She's truly the best teacher in Omaha.
Sarah immediately connected with my daughter. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and engaging. After the first lesson, I asked my daughter (who is 14) how she felt and she said, "My brain feels nourished." I highly recommend Sarah.
Lisa was a caring and qualified teacher for my girls. She was thorough and professional in her teaching, but flexible with schedules and family needs. Her experience in music therapy bled into her regular lessons as she exhibited patience and skill with my children's individual needs. I felt more than comfortable having my children in her home each week for lessons. We were sad to see her go when her family moved out of the area.
Explains guitar concepts in an easy to understand manner. Focuses on building a foundation with you before embracing more advanced practices. I strongly recommend.
I took piano lessons with Anne for quite a long time. Working with Anne and taking piano lessons was one of the best decisions I ever made. She always encouraged me to try my hardest and when I struggled, she always knew the right way to help me out. She knows her students' strengths and weaknesses and knows how to utilize those strengths and work on the weaknesses. Although I am not taking piano lessons anymore, if I ever wanted to start back up, I would call Anne in a heartbeat!
Learn to play at any age! I teach piano and voice lessons at my studio, and the piano lessons are taught using the Simply Music piano method. I teach most of my lessons on Monday or Tuesday, and I can teach during the day or in the evening on these 2 days. If a different day of the week is preferred, the lessons would be in the late morning/early afternoon.
Rather than placing a 5 year old on a bench staring at a piano book with a towering teacher, Let's Play Music is FUN! If you were to peek in on a Let's Play Music class, you would see jumping, singing, skipping, storytelling, and laughing! Music educators have long taught that the young child learns best through play, experience and discovery. As musical concepts and skills are presented in a playful, joyful setting, children absorb knowledge and ability. Children learn best by just doing. Lessons are structured with minimal talking and explaining which leaves plenty of time for playing, dancing and singing! Research has shown that the more physically involved a child is in the learning process, the more he/she will internalize the concept. Children are much more likely to enjoy the setting when there are other children around. The synergy of a Lets Play Music class naturally encourages children to participate and to excel.
I like to teach music and help the people in this life. I want make music and give a support for the church.

CHILDREN'S MUSIC ACADEMY Children's Music Academy (CMA) instruction is exclusive to Lincoln through Harris Academy of the Arts. CMA specializes in teaching music in a fun, positive, and lively classroom setting, where children have the freedom to love and appreciate music, while developing fundamental musical skills. Activities are fast-paced, incorporating games, songs, dances, and ensemble playing, involving a variety of musical instruments. Parents are invited to actively participate with their child through CMA. The CMA curriculum was first developed in Southern California in 1974, carefully written and updated to develop lifelong musical appreciation and aptitude. Our courses cover all the beginning levels of musicianship and are age-appropriate, sequential and cumulative. Research has revealed that children are most receptive to musical training between ages three and six. Beginning a child's musical experience and education during these ages provides a strong foundation for continued music development. CMA is a 50-minute class offered to children ages four to seven who are placed in one of two courses, Junior (four and five years) and Intermediate (six and seven years). Students new to CMA may select from new class options, whereas returning CMA students who are continuing their curriculum for a second term may enroll in a continued class matching their skill level. Materials for CMA help to enhance the learning experience. The materials fee applied to the course includes a book bag, notebook, pencil pouch, and magnetic note speller, along with piano books, colored pencils, flash cards, handouts, stickers and rewards. Basic skills taught through CMA: Composition; Ear Training; Ensemble Playing; Harmony; Note Reading; Recorder; Rhythm; Singing; Various Instruments.
I offer beginning piano and voice lessons for all ages. The curriculum is tailored to each student's needs. I'm changing the world one 'note' at a time.
I've recently finished my third-fall semester of college in which I am majoring in vocal music performance. I'm also fluent in reading music and playing piano and organ. Currently, I'm willing to teach voice, piano and organ (Hammond B3) for those interested. I also know how to play the tuba and the clarinet and would be willing to give those lessons a shot.
I provide voice lessons to people looking to prepare for auditions or wanting to improve their voice overall. I have a master's degree in music and teach choir professionally.

I am a professional "entertainer" who is classically trained and experienced in all genres of music (except hip hop). I can boom chuck with the best of them and then play a Mozart Sonata- having respect for both. I teach technique in everything because that's what gives you wings to fly in any style. I am spontaneous in using metaphor and everyday life examples and apply them to your learning. It's fun.

I have been playing guitar for 12 years and have experience and knowledge in reading music, music theory and guitar crafting. I have been singing and playing guitar professionally for the last eight years and have professionally recorded multiple albums. If you want to know how to make a career out of your love of music, I am just the person to point you in that direction.
I teach guitar and voice lessons, catering to each individual student's specific needs and goals. I have had international experience for over 4 years, teaching kids 7 and up.
I teach guitar, bass, singing, songwriting and real-world theory in the most precise way to what you or someone you know wants to learn, while giving the student a taste of all other styles. I've had 100% success rate of satisfied students. Teaching is never what I wanted to do, but a new way of teaching occurred to me from real-world experience that made me rewrite how it's done. Music can be the most fun but yet deeply personal thing to express what's most important in life, and anyone who wants to can be great at it. Let's get started if your serious!
I give piano and voice lessons. I also offer lessons in baking and decorating cakes for all occasions. I will deliver wedding cakes but for others, you have to pick it up. Students come to me.
For music, I have done music my whole life, and I am currently going to Wayne State College for Music Education K-12 with a field endorsement, which simply means I will be able to teach anything related music. I can do vocal or instrumental. For the swimming lessons, I have swam competitively since I was five, and have been a coach, and I am still a lifeguard.
