- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A ballpark for our murals is about $25 a square foot. Our faux finishes are between 5 and 10 dollars a square foot. The higher end of the texture work is for plaster finishes such as American Clay, which we are uniquely certified to apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We listen to what the clients, or communities, would like to see us paint, then we bring sketches or samples to subsequent meetings. Se work to stay true to the agreed upon samples and sketches, while learning from their feedback. Usually we have an upfront cost for the sample and sketch which gets worked into the total estimate if we agree to go forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Richard has an Master of Fine Arts degree from North Carolina School for the Arts, and many of our team members have degrees in Art and Art History. Richard was trained and certified to apply American Clay Plaster from the manufacturer in New Mexico. Most of us have safety certification to work on swing stages and scaffolding.
