I needed to fix the railing portions of my smallish deck. It turns out the posts were of untreated wood (in addition to being supported essentially by 2x2s) so they had rotted out. Eric showed up within several hours of me contacting him and gave me an estimate after a couple minutes of inspection. He was knowledgeable about decks and confused with several of the choices the original installer had made (like using untreated wood which is pretty inexcusable). He performed the job only two days later, kept it under his initial estimate (6 hours versus a whole workday), and did a fantastic job. He asked me whenever he bought new materials to make sure I was ok with the expenditures. The deck is now better built than when it was first installed.

Sam hung pictures in our home, and assembled a lamp table. Everything was done as expected, and at a reasonable price.

Upon the recommendation of my mother, I hired Lance to assemble two rooms worth of furniture to include a large dresser, desk, entertainment center, coffee table, night stands and side tables. Lance arrived on time and immediately went to task. He was very friendly, professional and hard-working and extremely skilled and meticulous in his work. When we noticed that a couple of the items had been damaged during/prior to shipping, Lance was very accommodating and took the responsibilty himself of ordering the replacement parts directly from the manufacturer. When the replacement furniture arrived the following week, Lance returned to complete the job. As a finishing touch, he hung up some wall decor and did some handyman work. He cleaned up all packing materials and debris. Lance's fees were very reasonable and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I love my furniture and it looks beautiful! THANK YOU LANCE!! I seldom write reviews but Tony and Mike did an exemplary job moving my new pool table from the seller's house to mine. They were on time, clean and were professional all around. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Tom Sorensen started under my contractor, hired to transform/renovate my new condo. Tom began on the job as a painter primarily and bit by bit I observed even greater and more varied talents. While painting I was observed that Tom was great at his job, pleasant to have around, and he always left after all was cleaned up each day. My idea for the master bedroom was to paint stripes alternate colors to look like wall paper but in my exact size and color choices. The job turned out superbly so we did this same process except, using different measurements in the hall guest bath. All looks great. After the renovation was completed, I have employed Tom has a handy man. He saved a fine but old and weak cocktail table by taking it apart, regluing and then cleaning it up like new. Then when a 4 foot wall was taken down and we all found an ugly pole in the middle of a now open room, Tom suggested a french technique, trompe'loile (forgive spelling, please) which makes my newly painted column look like it is fluted (it is not ) and in the two colors of the room, done with antique faux cracks, etc, Trust me, it is fabulous. And now Tom is saving an antique Register Clock that fell from the wall. I expect that when I get it back it will perform as new, still look antique....but put back together with loving care. And electrical problems sees easy to accomplish too. Tom is a really good guy and I wish him luck in his new business with himself as CEO. You can trust him, and as long as his vehicle is running, he will always be on the job.

How much does it cost to restore a pool table?

Keeping your pool table in prime condition both protects your investment and makes it more fun to play. If your billiards table has been damaged by age or player misuse, experienced pool table repair pros are ready to help. The average national cost to hire a pool table specialist is $330-$400, but pricing can vary depending on how much restoration work needs to be done and the type and cost of materials you need. Depending on the type of pool table you want, the cost to buy one new can range from $1,000 to $5,000 and up, so investing in upkeep every few years makes good financial sense. Common pool table repairs include refelting the table, replacing cushions and cushion rubber that is has deteriorated or been damaged, installing new pockets or replacing damaged pockets, and fixing chips or smoothing uneven slate. You can also have wood pool tables refinished to restore them to their former luster, which may start around $600 and go up, depending on size, wood type and necessary repairs. Pool table repair pros can level an uneven table, repair broken leg mounts and address other foundational issues. Pool table repair pros can also fix coin-operated parts for commercial tables.

How much does it cost to replace pool table felt?

Owning a pool table, whether for pleasure or business, means investing in upkeep. Keeping the felt in good condition is important to ensure not only appearance but a smooth game. The national average cost to hire a pool table repair professional ranges from $330 to $400. A quality pool table is a major investment, so you want to hire a pro who is experienced and comes with glowing references. Refelting a pool table is a specialized skill calling for technical tools, competence with slate smoothing and repair, and the ability to provide a precision application of the felt that won’t hinder play.

When well cared for, pool table felt can last up to a decade; pros recommend replacing your pool table felt every three years or so, more often if you play heavily. Refelting and pool table repairs can cost more for antique and custom pool tables. Commercial pool table owners are wise to have multiple pool tables repaired at one time, as they can often get discounts for volume work.
