Five stars to Bulent, hands down! I've taken piano and voice lessons from him for over a year and I've never met someone more passionate and genuinely interested in teaching. He takes the pain to really drill down the fundamentals into me. And makes sure I always keep an eye on the basics of technique. I was underconfident and by nature self-critical, but Bulent made me see what I was doing right just as what I was doing wrong. I am now confident in piano and am working towards building that confidence in voice too. More than anything, I value two things about him the most: 1. he gives genuine feedback on performance and that builds trust 2. it's amazing how much attention he pays to every minute detail! He inspires a student to work towards perfection. Unlike many other teachers that I've learnt under, Bulent is not driven by the money or is not constrained by time. This is very unique to him. You can easily tell that he is passionate about teaching and since he gives it his personal best, he brings out the best in the student too. Bulent made me believe in myself and I'd recommend Bulent to anyone who wants to learn music. He's warm, kind, compassionate, extremely wise, and truly genuine. It's rare to find someone so talented to be so down to earth and also passionate about teaching.

I have been taking voice lessons from Julie Kinscheck for over three years now and am very pleased with her as a teacher. I have a very busy schedule as a manager and she has been very flexible in making the lessons happen. These lessons have built my confidence and inspired me to perform more often because of my growth as a singer. I enjoy singing in the regular student recitals. I appreciate her patience helping me to learn to read music, improve my breath support, tone and more. She also has a good listening ear when I need to talk. She motivates me to want to practice to be my best. I also see she is an excellent role model for her younger students, always willing to expand her own horizons by learning and then teaching them songs which they want to perform. She genuinely cares about her students and takes a personal interest in their lives. You can tell she has a passion for teaching. I highly recommend her!

Jacque helped guide me when I kept hurting my voice from singing incorrectly. She thoroughly understands how to use your instrument no matter what style you are singing. Highly recommend her. She's got the voice to prove that what she teaches works as well.

I was given a gift certificate for voice lessons with Robin three years ago and i haven't left yet! It has been such fun learning and working with the entire studio and has rekindled my love of music. I know my abilities and techniques has improved. Robin's style is firm with a purpose. She wants all of her students to succeed and figures out what works best for each individual whether it is voice, piano or both. Her teaching goal is for her students to be well rounded. She gives a solid foundation to build on, tools that can be learned and applied not only to music but to life, and not to just skills to make music but to be able to perform for an audience.

I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!

Even though I haven't taken a lot of lessons (voice ) from Mark Dante Troiano , they have been helpful to me. I feel very comfortable with him as he has a kind & compassionate way about him. He praises me and builds my confidence. At my age this is important . But for sure at any age it has to be just as important . As my personal schedule varies from week to week , he makes the effort to fit me in with his schedule. I can tell that Music is his everything !

About

As a teacher I understand what it's like not to "get it" the first time. Not all of us are Mendelssohn or Bach. Also, I understand the problems involved for the late starter or the adult who had lessons years ago and now would like to try it again. Patience and love are the key elements to my approach to teaching. But, I also expect my students to work honestly and diligently no matter how difficult the task seems to be.
