Excellent guitar instructor/teacher. Always on-time with appointments. Great attitude and patience.
Taking guitar lessons with Jesse has been a great experience. He is a great teacher with lots of invaluable information that you couldn't learn from a book, and is very supportive of any ambitions I've had with my instrument. He goes above and beyond to the point of taking time to help students make the best equipment-purchasing decisions for them. I plan to take lessons from Jesse as long as I can! :)
I'm enjoying taking guitar lessons from Brian. Brian is knowledgeable, patient, and makes the lessons fun.
Very good first lesson. Rob is knowledgeable and I think he will help me in my goal of becoming a good guitarist
just what we'd hoped to find. Josh is professional and flexible, passionate about his work and he passes that love of music on in his lessons.
I offer a variety of music lessons: piano, guitar, bass, voice, music theory, music composition, and more. I also offer music recording and production services. My business stands out because of my vast experience as a teacher and performer. I also offer much better teaching facilities than other music schools in the area. I also incorporate the latest technology during my lessons. Right next to my teaching studio I have a music studio perfect for voice recording and production, as well as instrument recording and production. I offer production and post production services as well including mastering and artist consultation. As of March, 2018 I am pleased to announce I am adding ESL to a service that I provide! My B.A. degree in philosophy as well as years of learning a second language and working in a Spanish speaking community have given me extraordinary skills in learning and teaching language.
I started taking guitar lessons from Bob around 9 months ago. Prior to that, I had been self-training for around 3 years. Thanks to Bob's methodical way of teaching, I feel that I have made more progress in past 9 months than I had in the 3 years before that. Bob's teaching focuses heavily on music theory, and that itself was a boon for me. Knowing the theory not only opened my horizons to improvisation, but it also helped me write music on my own. In addition to that, Bob is invested in every aspect of the development of my musical skills, including my playing technique, precision and--last but not the least--finesse of playing. There's a difference in playing guitar for x number of years, and playing guitar in a way that's worthy of recording in a studio or performing in front of a live audience. Bob's lessons have made that difference more obvious to me than they ever were. Lastly, Bob also customizes the lessons based on my immediate requirements. So, if I have to learn a particular song to cover, or compose something for my band, Bob gives that as much importance as I would. In all, I'd recommend Bob to anybody who's serious about guitaring, and wants help in taking their guitaring to the level of a professional.
Owen really works well with my son. He has found ways to connect with him and the best approaches to teach him guitar - at his pace. I would highly recommend Owen to any child or adult!
Just started working with Michael. He’s a talented artist and passionate about Music which is exactly what I was looking for in a music (singing) instructor for my 15 year old daughter. She looks forward to her lesson and most recently creating her own songs!
Amazing guitar teacher. Top notch instructor. I highly recommend Byron if your are interested in learning the guitar.
Very pleasant experience. Communication was prompt and courteous!
I bought my husband lessons for Christmas and then again for his birthday. My husband is an intermediate student and LOVED learning from Randy. Randy was prompt in replying, his schedule is flexible, and he is a highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic musician. I would highly recommend him, and all he has to offer!
Zach did a great job of teaching my sons guitar for about 2 years. He kept it interesting for them as they are 12 year old twins. They are going to join the middle school jazz band and they owe a big part of this to Zach and his instruction.
I am willing to work with children 16 and under in helping them explore a love for music. I will teach them the basic scale/notes, chord structure/progression, and playing with both hands.
I am a self-taught guitarist with over 11 years of experience. I will teach you everything you need to know as a beginning guitarist until you reach the point where you can teach yourself.
I provide private piano lessons for ages eight to adult. I also do weddings, private parties, and funerals. I also offer audition preparation and digital rehearsal recordings. I don't teach guitar!
Coming from a very musical family, Joe started playing bass at the age of 9. While creating music for his own bands, Joe was quickly utilized as the go-to bassist for jazz band, chorus, string ensemble, and even musicals such as Les Miserable, Hello Dolly, etc. His interest in jazz brought him to Berklee College of Music, where he graduated with a degree in contemporary writing and production. Since then, Joe has toured the UK and Europe with international artist Christian Cuff and as a session musician and has shared the stage with artists such as B.B. King and James Otto. By playing styles from hip-hop to classical and anything in between, Joe now works as a producer/engineer in the world-class Rockinghorse Studios in Pittsfield, NH, while still finding the time to play numerous groups throughout New England. Joe's Teaching Philosophy: "My aim as a teacher is to help the student achieve his or her musical goals, which could be anything from strumming chords at a campfire to auditioning for a band. Either way, my intention is to inspire the student to practice and to inspire him/her to have fun. I strongly encourage students to be creative and develop their own style based on what they love about the music they listen to and ultimately want to play."
Through teaching music not only will you learn to play the instrument of your choice but you will be improving your fine motor skills, honing your math and continually adding foreign language vocabulary.
I am a college student studying classical guitar and classical voice at the Hartt School of Music. I have played electric guitar for 7 years in a rock band in California.
