My kids have been taught by Michelle for over 2 years. They are 8 and 11 years old, both engaged and continuously interested in piano under her tutelage! She uses different exercises to educate them, like "playing cards with musical notes," which works especially well for our younger child. I would highly recommend her. She teaches singing, too, which is a plus. She also provides end-of-semester recitals that are extremely professional and give the kids a chance to perform in a theater space.
Viky is a great voice teacher. I am enjoying working with her immensely.
Great studio and great teachers. They provide a comfortable learning environment. On camera class with a working professional.
I tried acting for the first time with Gregory. I had no experience. Gregory met with me one-on-one to explain the method he teaches. I couldn't wait to start. It's been 10 classes since then, and I'm hooked! Gregory is a fantastic teacher. He is intuitive and knows how to help you reach your potential. He creates a safe space to explore and experience acting. His teachings resonate both in and out of the classroom. He facilitates a professional learning environment that is positive, supportive, and fun!
Shannon is a very gifted acting coach. She helped me book and AMC show from a self-tape, an episode of a half-hour comedy on TV Land and to get a call back to a producer session for a guest starring role on CBS. She gives individual attention and has never coached me by rote. She truly works with the actor in front of her. In the many times I’ve gone to her, she’s taken her time, worked with me until I felt comfortable and confident, and by the end, made it all feel so simple and clear that once I walked through the audition room door I was at ease in my talent, my moment-to-moment work, and the story that the writers needed to see to know that I could do the job. She, quite naturally, helped me to get to the point where I could just bring myself without the worry of what to do or not to do. She also served as my vocal coach on the most recent production I directed and was able to guide the cast to decisions and choices that they were struggling with, creating a decisive and clear line of action with each actor. She works well with individuals and groups. I’d gladly recommend her to any actor with a big audition coming up or to any actor just looking to develop their on-camera acting skill. -Carter Gill
I went to Josh to prepare for an audition which required two contrasting monologues. Josh was helpful to adapt the text so I could focus on the key aspects of each script. Josh provided genuine feedback and I enjoyed his bluntness. He is very easy to work with and I highly recommend him.
Wendy worked with my daughter for a year and was phenomenal!!! She taught her how to focus and articulate emotion into her dialogues and so much more. My daughter absorbed everything Wendy taught her and loved implementing it on her auditions. Wendy makes it fun and exciting as well as keeping it stress-free. She is truly an OUTSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL person. Thank you Wendy!!!
I first met Natalia in an acting class and was amazed by her work and her generosity on stage as a performer-she is truly fearless! In my search for an agent, I reached out to Natalia for assistance-after our chat, within a few days I had my first meeting with an agent and was signed on! About two weeks later I BOOKED an international commercial/print AD!!! Natalia pushes and challenges you to stick with it and she does not take any BS from anyone-NO EXCUSE ZONE. She is the friend and mentor you always needed and a constant reminder of what it means to fight for your dreams.
Breaking into the industry is hard for any aspiring actor. It is tenfold harder for disabled actors. Liz has never tempered my goals. If anything, she pushes me further. She doesn't believe that, because of the way I walk, I have to accept being a character actor. She chooses scenes geared specifically to show casting directors, agents, and producers that I can be a leading man. She offers more than support. Her criticism may be tough, but it is always constructive and well-intentioned. She expects a lot from me because the industry expects a lot from actors. She expects me to be on time because the industry expects actors to be on set on time. She expects to see rehearsed monologues and scene work because the industry expects actors to walk on set ready to perform, not to work, the scene. Under her coaching, I got representation. I have been asked to audition for professional theater companies like the Manhattan Theater Company. I also have landed roles in two short films and an off-off broadway production. 2018 looks ever brighter. If you have the chance to work with Casting Solutions Casting, do it. You will walk away from the experience knowing what to expect from the industry and, more importantly, knowing to how to land work as a professional actor.
I loved that she was very patient with me and repeated everything multiple times. It prevented me from getting frustrated. I felt like she valued my time. She is very nice and has many good stories to tell; her experience in the field of singing and acting, plus being a voice teacher, makes her a great pick!
Sam was an excellent coach for my most recent self tape audition. She gave succinct and constructive feedback and had an immediate sense of the emotional life of the character. She was encouraging and focused the whole session and was attentive to my thoughts throughout. One of the best audition coaching sessions I’ve had. Very much looking forward to working with her again soon.
If you in need of an acting teacher or a mentor, Susan is the one ! Professional and experienced. Thank you Susan, Zdeni V.
As a coach, Paul is a master at creating a full character within the minimal amount of material you are usually given for an audition. He helps you discover how the character moves, how they speak, how they carry themselves, what they want and how they are going to get it. He encourages and helps you make strong and interesting choices. With the work you do in his coaching, you walk into the room with the confidence you need to book the job.
Amy is one of the best acting coaches I have ever met and worked with. Her work is very personal and deep. She has amazing knowledge and technique but that's not it. She is sensitive and knows how to get the best out of each actor. In a different and personal way. In additon, she creates a safe and warm environment that helped me outreach my limits and discover more about myself and my abilities. She is the kind of teacher that will spend the night thinking and working on how to help you on a specific scene or big challenge. The only thing that could be better: well I wish Amy would live in the same city as me as I don't have the opportunity to see her as much as I used to. And I miss this talented coach.
