I thought I will just do it on my own at home. I started looking at some home gym equipment, and I thought I will just get an online trainer to help me, or do it on my own.all this searching went on for weeks. but after searching for equipment , I knew I was in trouble on my own , it wasnt going to work , and an online coach wouldn't work for me either. like I said , I never thought I would go to a big gym, let alone get a personal trainer. somehow thumbtack popped up , it may have been on facebook , or during my Google searches. so I posted on thumbtack I was looking for a personal trainer to help me, I posted that I was way overweight , and I wanted to lose it and work towards getting in shape, by improving my fitness and work towards abdominals , chest and arms , just all of it. I cant believe I posted that but I did. James messaged me and said he would like to work with me , and that he could help me. what I cant believe, is I walked through the door a few days later yup! had a great consultation with James and a light workout to see what I could do . he explained along the way what he was doing and what I was to do in the light workout, and if I got tired or couldnt finish we would stop . he is good he knows how to make you at home and confident , and with me that's a challenge. I signed with James and I'm starting this week 8-19-25 . once he gets me to the point of losing weight as he is also a certified nutrition coach , and works out a fitness plan for me , I might even agree to post some pictures of working towards my goal with his help of getting me towards being in my best shape possible . I highly recommend James , he is great ! he knows just the right training methods to help gain confidence and keep you motivated. if you need that kind of help he is the one. I lacked both confidence and motivation , after my first full workout session , I was hooked I LOVE it ! Met up with Certified Personal Trainer Rashaan, he gave me the option to come to the extensive gym he has at his apartment complex, or the Hangar (another gym he trains at downtown). I chose his home gym as it was closer to mine. He proceeded to put together a circuit of 10 workouts over the span of an hour and some change that consisted of bench pressing, weighted solider marches, plate truck drivers, burpee marches, bent over dumbbell rows, leg scissors, plank burpees, and plank holds that l finally tapped out on. But regardless, great workout, Rashaan is a great guy, very understanding and helpful, did every exercise with me."See more
