Where do I begin? If I could give this team 10x stars I would. Across the board, couldn’t recommend more. Punctual, responsive, went above and beyond what we needed. If you need any time of AV needs: video, audio, staging — the works, work with them. Will continue to use them for all our events. Also, did I mention kind, and accommodating, and absolute experts. Filled in gaps, and truly went the extra mile (and last minute, literally day of event) for us. Exceptional is an understatement.

I got married at the Greenpoint Loft in October 2024 and booked The Livewire Studios/Terry for our audio/sound needs & dance floor lighting. Everything went so smoothly from my initial outreach on Thumbtack, all the way to wedding day. Terry was quick to respond, he thoughtfully answered all of my questions and was professional every step of the way. He very kindly worked with our budget and helped us understand the best sound/rental options for our venue. The microphones worked seamlessly for our ceremony and the quality of sound was unmatched for speeches & dancing. The dance floor was packed all night! He worked with our DJ to ensure they had all the necessary equipment and was the first vendor to arrive on wedding day to setup and start sound-checks. Dance-floor lighting was exactly what we wanted. Terry was there all night to operate the dance-floor lights and switch mics/speakers from ceremony over to reception. 10/10 would absolutely recommend them. No hidden fees, straight forward pricing (very reasonable for NYC), easy to work with and just overall a really experienced team. Terry and I were working on an AV plan for our upcoming High School reunion which will be inclusive of the first 5 graduating classes, so a pretty huge project. He was responsive to messages in a very timely fashion and answered all inquiries thoroughly. He provided great input and his knowledge of what equipment we would require for the multi-media presentations was extremely helpful. His willingness to work as best as he could with our budget was appreciated as well. I would highly recommend his company for all your a/v projects.

Terry went above and beyond to help set up the sound for our event. He was super helpful throughout the entire event by moving speaker around based on our request and playing the songs we provided. Terry was professional and very polite. The quality of the equipment was excellent and Terry is a true professional, optimizing the whole sound system to sound great on our backyard. Highly recommend The Livewire Studios.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer premium pricing based on premium services but I am willing to give discounts for new customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer speaking with potential clients over texting. I believe texting is ok but there is nothing like the human experience to aid in feeling confident, comfortable and secure with who you are spending your money with.
After speaking and receiving the details of your event, we will follow up with a professional quote based of our conversation.
We require a 50 percent deposit to secure any date. The balance is due on the day of the event on arrival.
