Mackens is a great, personable trainer. I never did anything other than cardio at the gym. Mackens worked with me, conditioning me and training me to lift weights. He is an excellent instructor, teaching me proper form and technique. Mackens is supportive and an great motivator. Working with Mackens, I have lost over 20 pounds and am much stronger than ever.

Ed had been an excellent swimming instructor for my 6 year old son. My son made quick progress on essential techniques that would other wise take much longer to learn. Henry is a great fitness instructor. He pushes you to do the exercise routines the *right* way and the exercise routines are very effective. Whether it is cardiovascular exercise or strength-training with free weights, he knows exactly what parts of the body to target. He also has some excellent nutritional advice to give; all you have to do is ask him. Like anything else, you have to bring a "reason why" to every session. His routines, with proper diet, will get you in shape and you will definitely feel the difference in your future cardiovascular activities. See him first!
I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Before I started working with Steve he did a 2 hour evaluation by taking body measurements, testing my flexibility and strength. Based on those results, Steve tailored my fitness program just for my needs. I love the fact that Steve is a multi-faceted instructor and my workouts can vary based on how I feel that day. We have incorporated Qi-Gong, Yoga, Cardio, Strength Training and Massage into our sessions. His positive attitude and great stories make our sessions fly!

I came into Moe's class plateaued on cardio and injured from Pilates. I was obese most a my life and was in such a rush to remedy that, that I dove into training blindly. That lead to weight loss and zero muscle gain, which led to sports injuries. I was introduced to Moe threw a friend aware of my predicament. He was a God-send. This isn't just physical training; it's also the physical education I very much needed. Training and learning helped me by leaps and bounds. What can I say about this trainer Offer Cohen. Well that Offer is an hard working trainer who finds and figures out a exercise plan to fit you and your needs with lots of compassion and cares for everyone he comes across and will do anything to figure out what is going on with you and your body personally. If the fit part works for you and then the weight does not come down then he will help you with a meal plan for your eating to become better in recognition of what is good and bad for you. As for me he worked wonders. I lost 71 pounds but in the course of two summers I struggled and gained it back but he and I figured that it might be more than food and exercise it might be chemically wrong with me but I will shortly get blood work done with the doctor and figure out the issues if there is any. In the mean time I still see Offer one on one training as well in his Bootcamp classes at Xceed Fitness with his other instructors and I will be back on track. If you and others have issues with weight or need to get in shape from toning to maintaining or weight loss,Offer Cohen is the person is the one to have and he can clarify and help you out like he has done for me through out the years!!! I've been training with Richie on and off for the last thirteen years. Ideally I'd love to train with him five days a week. Unfortunately, work and life in general make that difficult. When I first started with Richie he would have me demonstrate how I did a certain exercise, like a dumbbell curl. He would make adjustments as needed and I would almost always have to go to a lighter weight. He would emphasize form which worked hand in hand with exploiting the muscle. The day after working out with Richie I always had that "good sore" feeling in whatever body part we worked on. He also had me write down what I ate everyday. I was already pretty meticulous with what I ate. He gave me a meal plan and I followed it to a T. Five weeks into the meal plan Richie gave me he re-checked my body fat. It dropped from18% to just under 13%. When he saw the results he stood up and hugged me. I didn't know how to react at first especially since I only knew him for a few weeks. He then explained that he was psyched because I followed the meal plan. The measurements he took didn't lie. One of the biggest reasons that I really enjoy training with Richie is that he is creative and does a great job at "muscle confusion." The work he does in preparing for an individual's training session pay off over time. He is by far the most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to weight/fitness training. On days I'm not training with Richie I hear his voice in my head pushing me. That's the positive effect he'll have on you! Don L.
