From the start, he helped me develop concrete and measurable goals (one of them being get back to soccer in the spring). With other trainers, the idea was just to "get in shape," which could mean anything to anyone. The service Jaisen provides is very personal, from scheduling to working out the right parts of the body in the most effective ways. He goes at the pace that is best for you, but pushes you and is all around good company. I was also looking for a trainer that I could get along with and feel comfortable with, at my not so comfortable weight. He's all around motivating, understanding, hard working and professional. The price is great as well. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I've been working with Dewayne for 5 consecutive years. When I first began training with Dewayne I was at my highest weight, 250 pounds. Previous to working with Dewayne, I trained with 3 different personal trainers. I did not obtain the results that I desired working with those trainers. However, as of today, I am delighted to say that because of Dewayne effective training skills my weight is down to 152 pounds. I am no longer taking Insulin for my diabetes. In 2012, for the first time my cholesterol was below 200. I am very pleased with my results and I HIGHLY recommend Dewayne Barrett

If you are someone who doesn’t like training with a group of people or in a public space, and don’t have a gym at home, RJ can find a way to make the training as convenient to you as possible. I wanted to loose a little bit of weight, get toned and get back in shape, and I already feel the results. I sleep better, and I feel more positive. She puts a lot of attention on eating habits, exercising steps to practice between sessions, will go over all your eating habits and change them slightly to fit the program's needs as well as yours. She will also share a recipe or two if you need help figuring out your diet. :) RJ has a very pleasant personality and she makes one-hour exercise seem like 15 min. Overall, she is a great personal trainer.

Over the last 5 years I’ve had 5 different personal trainers at Equinox(TEIR 1,2&3). They were ok... motivating and nice... but I was looking to be motivated, gain knowledge, and to GET RESULTS (I always felt that I knew more than then trainers; they never gave me a weekly plan, just a decent workout in person; and didn’t know jack about meal plans)! I was on the verge of quitting my personal training for good, when I met Maik. WOW - total perspective change! He's the REAL DEAL! I learned more with Maik than I've ever know! I train totally different now, actually have a solid training plan (that changes every 5-6 weeks), and finally have a meal plan that really works (not just, “eat clean, and you’ll be fine”). Last weigh in was a lean 154lbs (in about 5 months). Maik cycles me through routines that focus on different muscles, and tweaks my meal plan as needed – totally personalized. As if FINALLY GETTING RESULTS wasn’t enough (really the only thing I personally cared about), Maik is a totally cool, laidback, and fun guy to spend the hour with (bonus). He’s also super quick to respond to questions, anytime by email (my pref method of communication). Bottom line – If you are going to have a personal trainer, this is your guy. See him for one cycle (6 weeks) – I bet you feel the same way that I do.

I've been working out with Daryl for almost two months now. The experience has been excellent. Daryl is knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and thorough. He takes pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with on a personal level. His staff is responsive, polite and helpful. I see a couple of anomalous negative reviews here but frankly they do not reflect my experience. With personal training at your home, one has to be a little flexible with things like weather disruptions etc. The staff have always been very responsive in adjusting fees and credits to account for it. So I would have no hesitation recommending Daryl and DMG based on my experience to date.

I've worked with a handful of personal trainers at different gyms but nothing was like having my trainer, Cedric, bring the gym right into my living room at 5:30am! His company, Get Bodied Services, was truly a blessing in my life! Because of my work schedule, it had been challenging to keep up with going to the gym and my hard-earned money was going to waste on my gym membership. Serge has been training me following the birth of my son, and my body has bounced back in HUGE part to him. I have done many workouts in NYC and worked with many trainers-- these past experiences can be good initially but frequently lead to stale workouts and a plateau of results. Serge always keeps if fun, new, fresh, and my body is always changing. I have seen great physical results, but also improvements in my overall athleticism, endurance, and strength which is essential when caring for an infant. Kevin is truly a ' best in world' trainer. I can't say enough about Kevin but please read this and hopefully you'll have a better idea of how he has changed my life on a very personal level. Personal training for the family Ed has been the personal trainer of my family for a while now and he is incredibly knowledgeable. He has a wonderful personality and helped us not only with exercising but has given professional nutritional advice which has had a great impact on my energy levels. I'm a young mum and after birth had put weight on and had constant back pain; Ed is helping me get back in shape, tighten up the muscles after pregnancy and strengthening my body to help me with back pain. The results have been fantastic as my back pain has gone and I am starting to see my abdominal muscles coming back so it couldn’t be better. Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. But I joined mainly to be able to continue training with Gil. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts. I highly recommend both of them and together they are a powerhouse team. I also appreciate that they both go beyond the exercise classes to take a personal interest in nutrition and give advise.

The last thing I wanted to do was make myself vulnerable to a personal trainer. After years of being laid up from injuries and illnesses, my weight was up and I was in the worst shape of my life. I had a wonderful experience training with Henry. He was very accommodating to my schedule and listened carefully to the aspects of my diet and health that I was looking to improve. Over the course of our training sessions he addressed all of these areas by providing specific meal suggestions for a nutritious/balanced diet, incorporating cardio into all the workout routines, and focusing on exercises that targeted the total body and were easy to replicate when working out on my own. He was understanding of my schedule/lifestyle (I work full-time and have a one year old) and very encouraging during all of the workouts. Morgana is the perfect match for my physical training, balance and flexibility needs. She is able to incorporate the essentials of Pilates into floor exercises, which gives me stability, but has added some balance moves which will keep me steady and upright. I have suffered from PAD for some years, but after several surgeries which were successful for a while, I was finding it more difficult and painful to walk. After one session with Morgana, I know my entire physical demeanor will benefit. she is a delight to have as my trainer, and I look forward to working with her on a regular basis to strengthen my weaknesses. I highly recommend her, particularly for those with orthopedic issues, to which she can apply solutions which will help get you back in shape.

Mobile Fitness Group is fantastic to work with! It's so great to have knowledgeable trainers that really take the time to make sure they are helping you meet your goals throughout the process. And of course, having them come to you is huge! I have trained with several trainers over the years but I have to say Erika is the best. She is invested in helping you achieve your goals and pushes you to go farther than you would go on you own. I trained with this company back in LA and you have no idea how happy I am that they have trainers in NYC as well! The training packages are a great deal and it's a huge plus that their trainers are well informed when it comes to nutrition. George Lewis/Inner Fire Fitness is hands down the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. I've worked with Mr.Lewis for 4 months and he changed my life. He motivated me, encouraged me, and pushed me to achieve fitness goals that I never thought were possible. I hate ab workouts they were challenging for me, he saw this,to encourage me, and motivate me Mr.Lewis got on the floor and did the entire ab workout session with me. What more could I ask for, he's the best personal trainer ever!! I still hate ab workouts but I can do them now because he believed in me, and now I believe in myself. I've been practicing yoga for years, but gyms and anything cardio were foreign concepts to me. I'd been looking to branch out of my comfort and push myself a bit, but I knew I needed someone to show me the way and hold me accountable. Enter Will. I've only been working out with him for a few weeks now, so I can't quite comment on results. But Will has a well-rounded set of traits that make him a great personal trainer. He is energetic and motivating without being a drill sergeant. He pushes me but also senses when to give me a bit more of a rest. He listens (so incredibly important), adapting exercises to suit my specific limitations and pacing things accordingly. Most important, he emphasizes form above all else, and is conscientious about preventing injuries. Best of all, he does all this in the comfort of my own home, arriving chipper and bright-eyed at 6am. A handful of sessions in, I am surprised that I don't find working out to be as much of a drag as I'd expected, and I accredit that to Will.

If you are looking to see results Isaiah is your guy! Prior to Isaiah, I had worked with 2 other trainers. Both of my previous trainers were knowledgeable however, they were spending too much time on mobility and strength training. One week in with Isaiah, I told him my fitness goals were to be able to do squats on the squat rack and deadlift. Isaiah said no problem, we can do that starting today. Isaiah recognized I was capable of performing these workouts. He didn't hold me back, to trap me into buying more sessions which I felt was the case with my previous trainers. He truly cares about your well being and helping you achieve your goals. Most importantly, he will hold you accountable!!! Isaiah's program is wholistic, if you follow a good diet (which he will track) and keep up with his workouts, I promise you- youwill see results. Also, Isaiah is professional, responsive and ALWAYS on time!

But as the years added and the less activities I participated in the pounds started to add on, and never really knew where to start. Isaiah was a great trainer. I was nervous going to a gym and looking stupid doing workouts. Isaiah kept me at ease, showed me the proper ways on how to do things. His love and drive for what he does really helped me get into the shape I’ve always wanted. He always kept pushing me when I wanted to stop. I’ve never had him cancel on me, and every time I go to the gym, he’s usually been there for an hour already. He has a positive attitude and that’s what keeps me going back. All around 5 star guy.
