I stopped working out for years after rupturing my Achilles' tendon. I lost my desire to exercise and regardless of how many times I rejoined the gym, I had no motivation to workout. I made my mind up to spend my hard earned money on a personal trainer. I found Shawn from Gladiator and now I'm back on the grind. Shawn is super knowledgeable and very professional. Every workout changes, which is great for the body! Shawn knows his stuff! I never planned to continue after my initial 3 months but now I'm hooked. I wouldn't technically say I hired Gladiator Strong I worked out with them twice and hated both experiences. Both times within 5-10 minutes I felt ill and told the instructors. The first time it can be an honest mistake but knowing they went too hard to fast the first time you need to TAILOR to your clients needs. I decided to stop working training with Gladiator strong after leaving my second session the instructor told me "You think that was hard its only going to get worse". Thank you for your feedback. I understand Gladiator Strong Fitness was not the right fit for you. Although you did not hire us. I think it would be unfair to say we did not tailor a workout program for you if you did not purchase a service from us. I hope you achieved great results with another company.
Shawn is incredible. Not only am I losing weight, I am gaining a lot of strength and confidence. Shawn is extremely encouraging, motivating, and pushes you to do more than you think you're capable of doing (within reason...)! He varies each workout so we're not doing the same thing everyday. He is flexible with my schedule and makes it easy to want to go to gym. Shawn is fun, yet challenging and very effective!Oct 8, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When meeting with a new client. I typically like to meet in person to discuss their goals, then assess overall strength and endurance with a basic workout. Which will provide me the information I need to create a program to fit their unique goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor degree in Exercise Science from Lincoln University, PA. I'm certified personal trainer by the International Sports Medicine Association, and TRX Level 1. Looking to add more In the future.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started working out in high school where i continued my passion for fitness into college where I played football. I then became a certified trainer in 2010. I have been changing lives ever since.
