Richard has been my trainer for 2.5 years. I've never had a trainer before. Now I can't imagine working with anyone else. First of all he's just a really mellow, genuine, caring person. He never gets distracted while training me and focuses on everything I'm doing. He's very comfortable training both men and women of any age group. And he treats me like an equal. He's never condescending when I question something. He's tough when he wants you to just push that next lift and I had to learn to trust him. But he's also understanding if you don't feel well. Pretty quickly he learns his clients strengths and weaknesses. With me it was always trying to conserve energy so I could do more rep.'s He realized thats how I was thinking! And then spent many sessions teaching me to change that habit. He's got a sixth sense for all this. Just by watching you he can figure out how you're thinking while you train. Initially I was expecting him to look at me and think "older woman, I won't push too much". I had seen that mentality with other trainers at the same gym. Which would have been insulting. I was SO wrong! He trained me as if I was getting ready for my sport. I was already in good cardio shape but wanted to build muscle and get stronger. With Richard I could not believe how I was lifting 6 months along. I would never have believed I could become as strong as I am. He taught me so many techniques to mentally open up to lifting to my full potential. And he taught me good lifting technique so I have not had one injury in all this time. He also changes the work-out the second he feels you've gotten comfortable with it. Which I hate but is necessary! He's passionate about his career and you can tell he feels great when he sees that you're improving. He's also very knowledgeable about the role nutrition plays and stressed how important it was to allow some weight gain, steering me away from obsessing about the scale. I am really proud of my accomplishments. I work out in a gym that can be very intimidating when you wander near the free weights. All young guys full of machismo. But with Richard's training I walk in there alone now and I know what I'm doing. His training has greatly improved my confidence. It's affected my whole life, not just my work out : )

Chelsea is an excellent trainer in that she takes the time to set a personalized training plan based on your goals, current fitness level and diet. Her training plans challenge you physically and produce results while being easy enough to do on your own at home or at the gym in between sessions. She pays attention to detail, makes adjustments to plans when necessary, and makes herself available for questions by phone or email. Chelsea is extremely professional and has a personality that makes you feel comfortable and at ease, which is great for people new to working out. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to lose weight, get in shape, implement cross training for runners, strength building, or even fitness competition training! Chelsea does it all!
Mikael Shipley is an awesome Personal Trainer. She tailors the workout to the client, and provides resources in order for them to stay on track. She's professional and pleasant to work them!

Functional movement training was completely new to me when we first started working with Steve over 3 years ago, now it is a lifestyle. Steve has mastered the art of cutting edge training techniques all while re-introducing your body to how it was meant to move. Through kettlebell, rope, and boxing workouts with Steve I am happy to say I am now 2 years pain free with a torn labrum (hip). Steve's unique and effective approach to training and nutrition provide insight into steps you can easily take to change your life... and those steps will be barefoot is he has anything to say about it.
OMG. Lou is awesome. He's in your head constantly even though we are miles apart. Before eating anything unhealthy I literally would turn around to see if he's behind me. He's that little voice in your head saying, "get your ass up and workout ". "You'd better not put that junk in your mouth".... Smh

I enjoyed working with Sy, he and his wife are professionals. By going to Stella fitness one or two times a week you carry the motivation to do better with you through the whole week. Do better eating, do better excercising, do better staying healthy. My favorite thing about working with Sy is that he will give you a goal to strive for, partake in a 5k, enter in a weight lifting competition, enter a bike race or the like and he will work muscle groups to improve you in those areas. For me, there isn’t much use in getting in shape for no reason! Sy gave me a reason!

Elise is currently training me specifically with strengthening/toning and healthy eating. I approached Elise for training due to her undergraduate degree in exercise science, current studies in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Seton Hall University and because of her dedication/motivation for her own healthy lifestyle transformation. I have known Elise for two years now and was able to witness her transformation and it is truly inspiring to see someone put forth so much time and effort to live a healthy lifestyle. I've trained with Chris for about three years now. In the beginning i was cepitcal about getting a trainer, but I knew I needed one to get the results I wanted. Me and Chris instantly clicked, he listened to my goals and came up with a workout routine that would get me those results. Within the first month I notice some results, after about three months I could see my body starting to transform. The reason I stuck with Chris for so long was I knew he could motivate and push me to my limits. I never thought I could be in such great shape, but It was all due to Chris guidance, meal plans and specific routines he had plan out for me. I would highly recommend Chris
I have had two, three month programmes working out online with Marianne over the last 3 years. I first found her coaching site my o my tv accidentally when looking how to use kettlebells. I did not want to become a member of a gym. I had a couple of starter kettlebells and I needed to know how to use them and I wanted to lose fat and gain muscle. Her site and programmes offered exactly what I was looking for as a beginner. My body shape transformed in the first three months. And despite have a break from workout sessions over a time since the first three months, I maintained the most part of the muscle shape and definition I had worked on. Returning to kettlebells the second time around as more of an advanced exerciser, was to improve all over fitness to prepare me for 6 months backpacking. By the second month I was noticing a lot of difference in my cardio fitness, flatter belly and arm and leg definition. I love working with Marianne. Even though it is done online with much distance between us and I needed to motivate myself more and be disciplined because of this, she provides a very personal programme and offers a great amount of support. I think the key with Marriane is that she listens and sees you as a whole person rather than a fitness object. She works on your emotional barriers to really drive you to your goals. She is a very intuitive, knowledgable, organised and gentle personal trainer. She has motivated me to be a better exerciser as well as a to be a better person to myself and others. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
A couple years ago I started to train with Keri and I can say with all honesty it was the best decision I had made. I have always struggled with my weight and recently diagnosed with celiac's disease. When I decided to work with Keri I was at the highest weight I have been since high school and I knew I needed a change. I have worked with other trainers before but the way Keri is with you is amazing. She not only helped me physically but mentally. She sat down with me and helped me with my eating habits as well as training. I am now down 30 pounds and have never felt better! I am now getting ready for my wedding and can't wait to see what I will look like after the strength training plan she has in store for me. I would highly recommend Keri without a doubt!

Whenever Stephen Danischewski walks through the door, I can feel his enthusiasm as to what is to come. Any inner self-doubt dissipates instantly. Instead, I wonder what he is carrying in his "mystery" bag that day. I'm comfortable with Stephen because he is caring, understanding, compassionate, full of praise when warranted, and he wants me to go far. He pushes me without being pushy, teaches me without being preachy, motivates me without being forceful, and compliments me without going overboard. (His big smile speaks volumes when I'm doing well.) With Stephen as my trainer, I actually enjoy exercising. NEVER in my life did I think I would ever put "exercise" and "enjoy" in the same sentence but Stephen makes me feel I can do the exercise and do it well. To me, he has the right temperament, pace, skills, knowledge, and attitude to guide me through my food choices and exercise routines. I feel Stephen has become a friend as well as my trainer.
I followed Magda Civil on IG and immediately knew I needed her to help me with my weight loss journey. For many years I've struggled with my weight due to really poor eating habits. I excerised with Magda 5 days a week and followed a flexiable meal plan. In four weeks I lost 14 pounds! Magda was very motivating. She challenged me to push myself when I wanted to give up and even excercised with me on certain workouts. During the time Magda was training me, she was also training for a bikini competition. I wanted something different and more consistent than the "big" gyms that have trainers who are kids and often don't know anything about handling large weights. I was recommended to Rowdell's by a friend, and really like him. He has competed and trained other bodybuilders, and knows how to work with large weight for men. I also like the fact that it's a private studio. Usually just me and him. I've been very happy with my results and will stay with him.
I run a business that trains riders and horses for national competitions. I hired Eric as a personal trainer for my riders and he has done wonders with them. I tell him what their weaknesses are with their riding, and he focuses his training on what each rider needs to work on. Super goal oriented to make the girls the best they can be!!
Mariya is an amazing athlete that has so much talent! She has been working with my 12 year old son on his sprinting form, strength and agility. He is making improvements even in a short amount of time. Mariya goes above and beyond! She attended his last track competition to cheer him on and assist him with form! My experience with Justina has been wonderful! She has taught me proper training techniques, and proper dieting! I have a chronic back issue, and she has truly helped me loose almost 30 lbs in a lil over 2 months! Even though i still have more weight to loose she has helped me get on a successful path to doing so because shes dedicated. So to anyone looking for a personal trainer she is a great one because she truly cares and is dedicated, and shes also training herself for a powerlifting competition!
