Anyone can do well in an easy situation. Adam, the owner of the company, had a very difficult situation. One of the movers originally hired for the move had a meltdown and essentially quit on the job. Adam upon being informed personally and immediately came to the site of the move despite having other moves going. He immediately removed the mover with a problem, swapped moving crews, made absolutely certain that the move went right and PERSONALLY moved us. He even arranged to come the next morning PERSONALLY and went out of his way to do everything in the most professional manner possible. You couldn’t ask for more. Any business can have a problem employee but when a problem arose, he was A+++++ with handling it. You can trust Adam 100%. He couldn’t have done a better job.

Without a doubt, the nicest and most helpful team of movers I've ever used. When everything was going pear-shaped, Manny and his team were calm and reassuring. They did a great job for us and we will hire them again and again.

Travis is a very professional, conscientious employer who takes the time to think what's the best way to move each and every item. His team worked 12 hours straight with no complaints and were very fast. We had two moves to do in one day. They didn't scratch one wall or one piece of furniture! They speak English and Spanish ( I think). They organized the truck and boxes etc. They charge a VERY fair and reasonable price. And are just nice guys! I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Midnite movers were great, easy to work with and these guys moved done extremely heavy furniture. It was not an easy job because they moved it from upstairs. They worked very hard.

We needed help moving basically the equivalent of a 1 bedroom apartment. Mostly just the heavier and "awkward" stuff to move. We prepacked boxes and had a lot of the stuff staged in the garage. Steve and his helper were very personable and listened to all of our requests. They looked at what we needed to move an loaded the truck in the most efficient way to fit everything in it. I am very satisfied with there work and would defiantly recommend them.

I was very pleased with Mark and his team. I was nervous about moving the hot tub because it was so difficult for the professional movers to put it in place when we moved here. You can tell by the way Mark works that he definitely knows what he is doing and has moved a lot of hot tubs. He made it seem so easy. Would definitely hire him again without reservation.

Awesome movers they where fast. Fit everything in the truck. They where careful with my things no damage. They even wrapped and disassembled my furniture. When I got to my destination 1000 miles away nothing moved in all the bumps I hit on road.. Would recommend them to anyone.

Powerhouse Moving Company did an outstanding job in my last move when I hired them. And I have used plenty of other moving companies. They were very professional, on time and their estimate of the job was very close to the outcome. I highly reccomend them to anyone needing movers.

How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
