I shoot a lot of weddings. I love shooting them because everyone is happy, beautiful and having fun.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer who has experience shooting the type of pictures you want. Be sure you see a nice variety of photos the photographer has shot. Every photographer has a different style. You also need to make sure the person shooting your event has a pleasant personality and is easy to work with.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people knew that there was a big difference between a friend with a camera and a professional photographer. Equipment, experience, practice, editing techniques, and professional labs, all contribute to the finished product. Many times when I deliver a bride's wedding photos, she comments on the unbelievable difference between the package she receives and the photos her friend or relative received when they simply had a friend or inexperienced photographer shoot their event.
