Extraordinary Trainers is not just a name of their group it describes each and every one of them. I have been training with Max Jones for over a year, and have had fantastic results. I am stronger, faster, have met and passed personal records, and on my way to a body I always wished I had. Max makes every workout specific to my needs and my goals. I think the one thing I like the best about training with Max and the Extraordinary Trainers is I never know what to expect each day. We don't just make rounds in the gym using the same machines. I met Max after I had already lost around 60 pounds. I may have lost weight on my own, but I was not as strong as I wanted to be. I now feel like an athlete. My confidence to take on athletic challenges has improved significantly. I am doing things in the gym that I would have never imagined doing. In the last year training with Max and Extraordinary Trainers I have run 3 half marathons, and now training for a triathlon. While training with Max he noticed that I had a left lateral hip deviation while in the downward phase of squatting. Their certified dietician Dan Howell has also taken time to review my food journals, and find any tweaks he can see necessary to keep me on track with weight loss along with the proper nutrition I need for training. I have recently started going to Nancy Dickinson's swim clinics, and in 5 weeks I have gone from a casual/leisure style swimmer to being able to swim laps with a much improved technique. Nancy has a way of teaching swim that has really connected with me, and made me found a new love in swimming I never knew I had. Most of my time might be spent with Max and now some with Nancy while swimming, but I really feel as if I am training with an entire team of elite athletes and trainers.
I've been training with Devan for about 3 months and let me just say I truly couldn't be happier. He is knowledgeable, motivating and is one of the best trainers in the industry. I don't always like him but man does he get you results. He is really good at pushing you but also learning and understanding your limits. Some how he knows when you can't do something and when you won't do something. I don't know if it's because of all his experience or if it's freaking magic or what but I feel very confident every time we workout that I'm getting the best possible workout with out risking injury. He works with people of all ages and sizes and he will custom tailor a plan (meal and workout) specifically for your goals. Whether it's wanting to just lose weight, rebound from having a baby or become a power lifter he can get you there. I highly recommend Devan and I'm looking forward to continuing my personal journey with his guidance.
Tony is a legend from the golden age of bodybuilding whose training methods have kept up with the times. He is not like the other trainers who just study personal training and have unimpressive physiques; Tony has done all the exercises he trains me with. I increased my bench press 100 pounds after three months of training with Tony, because the training program was individually tailored to meet my needs. Tony also trained my wife, and she dropped 10 pounds and increased her muscle tone in a month. His methods are tried and true, no gimmicks, no tricks, just precise training techniques and solid diet advice. Training with him has shown me I can achieve my fitness goals.
Martin is one of those personal trainers you truly trust. He knows a lot about fitness. The new fitness technology he introduced to me is amazing. Not only does it save time by doing a whole body workout in 20min, it also helped me with severe back and joint pain. I feel so much lighter and fitter after every session! e-Shape and Martin definitely changed my life. I suggest e-Shape to anybody who wants to save time, achieve results and to have a trainer who cares.
Aida Robles has not only helped me physically but with determination and time has helped me mentally to go far beyond what I was able to go in my own routines. I've had previous physical trainers but what makes Aida stand out from the rest is that she cares for her people she's training. She has pushed me so far beyond my own limitations that I never knew I could go. If it wasn't for her I would not have been this guy to keep pushing at everything I do in life. Aida also had taken great steps to figure out what I really needed as well with what my goals were and mixed them together to help me get my goals met. She's helped me get back some rotation back into my hand where I was once injured. Brian coached and trained me throughout my journey to my first fitness bikini competition. He taught me so much about nutrition, macros, timing... All the way to the end with water depletion and so on. Brian also taught me so many different exercises to build muscle in my glutes and hamstrings and I'm very happy with the results, he's always teaching me new things and making sure I have proper form. Great coach!! Highly recommended!!
Gev is one of my all time favorite fitness instructors. I have taken his yoga, bootcamp and yoga sculpt at my studio and I have loved each one. He is a professional, pushes us to do our very best, is funny and adds positive and uplifting anecdotes in each and every class that help to put a smile on my face and make my entire day better. I have started taking all of his classes because he is a leader, because his classes are tough and exciting, and I know that he will help get me into great shape.
Well when I found Marcia Washington, I was in need of a motivating inspiring trainer to get me started on a healthier way of life and to accomplish what I had set out to do. You see, I wanted to do a Spartan race, which is a 8 mile 23 obstacle course. I thought to myself, how can I do this? Well I found the one person that could help me with this task. She has done a race before. I worked with her for about four months or a little longer. Boy oh boy this was a amazon transformation for me. I ended up doing that Spartan race in 2 hours and 40min, wow, who would of thought that a 37 year old mom of three could do that in a small amount of time of training. Not only did she help me on my fitness goal, she also helped me see things a little clearer on what I wanted to continue to do with my fitness goal and my body and wellness of my life. So I continue to go to her for my training. Last December I had taken three weeks off of training and was still searching for something to change in my life. Well come January I went back to training, and started to feel a lot better. Then I decided to do something out of my comfort zone, yep I thought why don't I try a bikini competition show. I knew that I was with the right trainer, not only is she fit but she looks great. Every encounter I have had with Marcia, has always been great and uplifting. In the last four months, she has been training me, she has gone way over and beyond to accommodate my busy schedule and busy life. If I could post a picture of my before and my after, you would see the amazon transformation that Marcia and I have accomplished. Which is one that I could not of done without her. I was 168lbs and now I am, 140lbs and still going down. I have muscles that I have never seen before. I have had other trainers, but never have I had someone that is so amazing, uplifting and fun to train with. She has never cancelled on me, she has never just not shown up, and she is so committed to my training. She is always there for me with a great smile and ready to train me as if she had nothing going on in her life and only my training to do. I greatly appreciate her for all she does and the time she puts in for me and what she continues to do for me. It just amazes me on how I can get a phone call about my progress from my trainer and she is so excited for me when seeing the transformation side by side in pictures. It's like a proud momma of her daughter getting straight A's in school. My mother is no longer around, so to have someone share that type of excitement with me and for me, is a great feeling. I am so lucky to have her supporting me in my journey in a healthier way of life, and she is also the only one that could of made this possible. I've had personal trainers over the last 10 yrs and I can honestly say that none were able to help me as much as Matt has. Matt's training method is just what I needed. I'm not good at getting yelled and screamed and that's what I like about Matt. What makes Matt different from other trainers I've had is that Matt does not Motivate you or Push you, he makes you motivate yourself and push yourself beyond anything you ever thought possible. .. oh, and just so you know, no amount of whining or complaining will get you off from doing those 3 last reps. Matt makes me dig deep within and find strength and endurance that I didn't even think I had. When I started with him, I couldn't even run one lap around the gym track without feeling like my heart was going to explode. Matt challenged my body with exercises that I had never done before and even though I was downright pathetic in every single one of them at the beginning, I am amazed at how much fitter I am only a few months down the road. Today, I can exercise for a whole hour without breaks and I can't begin to tell you how good that feels. Working out with Matt has helped me do more than just lose body fat. I sleep better, I'm in a better mood, I have 10 times more energy than I did just a few months ago and I feel good and confident in my own skin. Plus, I now know I can run from danger if I had to.. I highly recommend Matt as a personal trainer. If you're in the Las Vegas area and you want a trainer that will keep you self-motivated so you actually look forward to your workout sessions, Matt is just the right guy for you. Give him a try. I know what your thinking "ughh reviews they never write the real experience" well duh you have to be there to experience it ! She was so enlightening with how you're supposed to maneuver the weight until you get it perfect. I was self conscious at first but she made me feel right at home. In my opinion she really encompasses the title professional trainer. Make an appointment, why not ? Prices are just right and you'll walk away with a smile.

I trained with Marney for 6-months last year. I'm an experienced weight lifter but wanted to learn new exercises. I had a lot of choices for trainers but Marnie had a great reputation, so I chose to hire her as my trainer. I enjoyed every session we had. Shawn has been nothing but professional since I hired him as a trainer. His commitment to me has been constant and I appreciate his full attention during our sessions together. Dr. John Vigil trained me for my first INBA figure competition in 2013. As an endurance athlete (marathon and triathlon), a figure competition was a bucket list goal of mine. I knew that training for it would be quite different from all the cardio that I was used to, but Dr. John was an excellent coach. 16 weeks of contest prep included a diet and training program so that all I had do to was follow his directions. I'm not saying that it was easy by any means, but I didn't have to think about anything other than following the diet, do the workouts, and watch my body transform. John was always available if I needed support or had questions and he kept track of my progress diligently. If you're looking to do a show or just get into better physical shape, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. John. Not only does he have the chiropractic background and expertise, he also has experience with training for and competing in bodybuilding competitions himself. I ended up winning two trophies at that INBA competition in the Masters figure division and I owe that success to the StretchDoc.
Mike was my personal trainer and nutritionist in high school and has helped me when I've needed to change up my workouts or get on a new meal plan while I've been away at college. Under Mike's tutelage, I lost 100 lbs and we completed a half marathon together. Not only is Mike an incredible trainer who gave me the tools to be my healthiest self, but he has been a major source of inspiration and motivation when I have fallen off the wagon and has become like family to me over the last 7 years. Mike is not just one of the best trainers, but one of the best people out there, and anyone would be lucky to have him as a trainer.
I started working with Jill in preparation for the Miss Nevada pageant. She was always encouraging and pushed me to be the best! She worked her magic and I ended up winning the pageant! I have been lucky enough to work with CJ for a year now, and my body has never been better! I have never felt so great in a bikini, and thanks to him I have been able to feel EXCITED about spending two weeks in a bathing suit on vacation!! :) You literally cannot put a price on that feeling, and the price that you do pay is so reasonable! Stars Locker is the best gym I have ever been a member of. Sarah and the rest of the trainers genuinely care about each and every person there. They all really take the time to get to know their clients and help them achieve their goals, whether it be to get in better shape, get ready for a competition, nutrition advice and over all health. Stars offers personal training as well as group classes. I have been to many group classes here and not one of them has been the same. They are challenging, but fun and are extremely encouraging. I am always excited to go to the next class. Body Pump is my favorite!!!! This is a smaller gym so you do not get that corporate feel where you are just a number or a body. The class sizes are perfect to help with everything such as proper form to help prevent injury.
I have been working with Erica for almost four months. From the beginning I immediately learned that my fitness is her passion. She was very attentive and guinuinely in tune with my fitness goals. Since then I have lost 10 pounds, over two inches in my waist and have drastically increased my muscle mass. I am currently preparing for my first bikini competition.
