FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $50 per weekly hour lesson. I teach out of my home studio to keep prices down. I stay quite busy, so traveling to my students isn't an option. If you were to compare my prices with shops around the city, you would see that I'm about half the price of most shops. I offer a more personalized experience, free material, a typically a more flexible reschedule policy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss your goals, availability, and then we start! It's pretty straightforward. There are no sign-up fees or forms. No contracts. I ask that my students pay monthly by cash, card, or zelle and offer a 24 hour cancelation/reschedule policy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended universities for formal music training, but most of your real learning has to come from intensely studying books and playing gigs. I feel that this perspective is good for a student to understand. You have to be ready to do the work.
