Laurajean has begun preparing meals for my father, husband and myself . Each week I tell her how many servings we need, and I arrange the pick up/delivery day/time. I order enough to be enjoyed two nights in the week. Each dish is special, delicious, and generous in portions. Even if it is a simple meal, LJ makes it unique with her special touches. Each dish is beautiful, too. I couldn't take care of everything on my plate, if I didn't have her help preparing meals for my family's plates! My husband is THRILLED to have her yummy meals!
Caren did a great job, she provided breakfast catering for my event and everything was perfect ! It was a very early morning event and she was on time and courteous. I highly recommend her services.
This was my first experience with contracting a catering company and all I can say is WOW did I hit the jackpot! From our first meeting all the way down to the day of the event, Charlene was nothing less than awesome. She was readily available to any and all concerns I had and always willing to help in any way with her expertise or just simple suggestions. The food was delicious and portions more than ample. Our guests are still raving about her tasty meatballs and perfectly flavored mashed potatoes and the brisket and chicken, well simply put....scrumptious. Mamie is a genuine "southern" lady. She recently catered a charity event at our office. We enjoyed her food, she has a little bit of everything on her menu from vegetarian to hearty meat dishes. The vegetarian gumbo and catfish bites are the bomb!
Roxanne was wonderful! Initial planning emails: Wonderful and friendly! Roxanne was so good at reassuring me and guiding me. I had no idea what I needed, and she helped me decide on what would fit my small reception best. Payment: I totally messed up my method of payment and made Roxanne have to wait past the final deadline for her money. She was so patient and gracious about it. We checked in with each other via email until the issue was resolved. Day of: Roxanne let me know what information she needed to properly deliver the food and supplies several days before my event. She was on time, prompt with set up, gave a clear explanation of what went with what. She gave me a much-needed hug before the wedding started. Food: Every single thing was delicious. We had Caprese salad cups, Veggie eggrolls, Stuffed mushrooms, Olive bread, and Shrimp cocktail. I originally asked for enough for 35, but then asked if I ought to over order for 40 just in case. She was very reassuring and promised there would be enough for 40. All my guests very honestly told me they loved the food and that they thought it was a good amount for such a short gathering of about 2.5 hours. The Olive bread really was excellent, and the Caprese salad cups were super tasty! The egg rolls disappeared quickly! Presentation and set up: As promised, the chaffing dishes kept the food just right. Even the stuffed mushrooms which would have been ideally been kept warm in the oven were perfectly fine in the chaffing dish. We had to add some extra ice to the shrimp, but that was literally the only thing we had to attend to. Everything else was set up properly. Plenty of utensils, plates, napkins, serving spoons, etc. Clean up was a breeze. Everything left behind was disposable. Price: I will be honest, I have no idea what catering costs. I've never catered anything before that didn't involve the words "sub sandwich tray." But Roxanne had the kinds of food and service we wanted for the price we were willing to pay. So I have no complaints. :D Overall: Though I don't anticipate having another event that needs catering, I would absolutely use Say Goodnight Gracie catering again! And I would recommend her to any friend who needed catering, large or small.
I can’t imagine working with a better caterer than Lisa Marie’s Catering. Stay with me here for a minute as I have a lot to say about Lisa and her team. First of all, she’s wonderful to work with, accommodating, punctual and easy to communicate with, plus her food is nothing short of fantastic. I work with caterers around the country as I bounce around hosting events for a national company. Because I plan everything from the West Coast, I need accessible vendors I can count on even if I’m hundreds or thousands of miles from them. Not only is Lisa a true professional, but she also has the patience of a saint. When I was waiting months for a venue to confirm my event date, Lisa worked with me, putting my mind at ease and holding my event date. When I asked her the same questions three times, just to be sure, she confirmed and assured me everything was taken care of – and it was. Her bar manager, Mark, texted me the evening before my party for 200 to ensure all details were taken care of and offering services the morning event if necessary. Even with all of this above-and-beyond customer service, I wasn’t prepared for the day of the event. One of their team members arrived early, quite early. Instead of sitting around and waiting for his team, seeing me setting up, moving tables, etc., he jumped right in and helped until his co-workers arrived and it was time for him to “work.” Everyone involved was all smiles, friendly and efficient. As the event started, I was treated like a guest with both Lisa and Mark checking on me, offering drinks and food. I chose an eclectic mix: ahi tuna bites, antipasta skewers, petite BBQ pork and slaw sandwiches, various crostini and more. Of course, her team’s handcrafted margaritas were a huge hit. Actually, everything was a hit! Although I can’t say enough good things about Lisa Marie’s Catering and every, single person I worked with, I have to get back to work!
I am giving 4 stars because i think some kf the administrative components needimproving, however, the dining experience for 10 in home was amazing. Chef Ky and team came in to prepare to appetizers, soup, salad and an entree for 10 of us on vacation in Vegas. They were professional, left no trace of being there (kitchen was cleaned) and best of all, the food was delicious, unique and catered to our gluten free and Paleo diet. He was able to create a menu to suit our "picky" needs. Would definitely hire him again!
Working with Crystal was great. My school was hosting our annual event to raise money for cancer and to honor those who have survived cancer, and we were having trouble finding a caterer for the survivor dinner. Crystal responded quickly on thumbtack and offered to cater. She was very friendly and most importantly, very patient. She still worked with us despite it being rather short notice and having to deal with certain formalities as it was through a school. The price was also more than reasonable, especially compared to other caterers, making it a lot easier on our event aimed at raising money. At the event, she was on time, friendly, and most of all, the food was great, and all of the survivors who attended the dinner had great things to say as well. Crystal is a wonderful person to work with, and an awesome caterer.

It was magical - Chef Jeff Mauro showed up at our front door with two massive coolers and an arsenal of specialty chef supplies. Our kitchen became his playground as he turned every burner on high and let the four course festivities begin. Our daughter, who'd worked as a server in Jeff's Jam Restaurant for the summer, convinced Chef to cook dinner with her in our home before she went away to school. All I can say is WOW - we were in for an unexpected off-the-charts treat! We have been lucky enough to spend time seeking out exceptional dining experiences in Chicago, NYC & Paris from finding the perfect pancake to seeking out Michelin Star chefs going out on their own...and nothing compared to this evening. Chef Mauro is one of those people who's born to be a chef. His innate passion for food and commitment to detail shined with every course he crafted. Truly I didn't know food could taste so phenomenal. For the first course, Chef used ingredients from our garden to create an unbelievable heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad. For the second course, he prepared poached sea bass atop a bed of crispy green apple slaw. For the third course, Chef sliced and plated duck a l'orange besides a pillow of quinoa, topped with a poached quail egg and peppercorn garnish. And for course four, Chef seared the most tender venison medallions, accompanied by a house-made sauce and a sweet corn salad. Despite my course by course description, no words can do a night with Chef Mauro justice. It was so much fun. Chef engaged us every step of the way. He enlisted us in building the works of art that became our plates for each course. He paired wine with each course and described the "do's and don'ts" of cooking techniques and flavor pairings. And he created a truly unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend highly!
I hosted a baby shower for my bestfriend and Mark did an omelet station. It was a brilliant idea! He had a bunch of ingredients for people to choose from. The guests had fun mixing their favorite omelet ingredients or trying out Mark's special seafood or homemade chili omelet!! He was very clean and well organized and on time. Two thumbs up! He did a great job!
