I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Hunter College. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Arts Teaching program at Lehman college for music education.

Introduction: I bring not only a background as a musician but also as an educator to each lesson. I make sure to assess not only each students technical ability but also their learning style. This allows me to approach each new concept in the way that works for the student and uses the students' learning style to find their voice as a musician.
I enjoy seeing students discover something new. Once a student grasps a a new concept and learn how to apply it to the drum set, their context of music expands and they are able to identify more qualities about the music they love.
