What luck to have found Matt's ad on a community bulletin board! I held on to it for a year before calling; so glad I did. Matt has an infectious passion for the guitar and all kinds of music. It's obvious he loves teaching as much as music itself. As an instructor, he is thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and methodical but never pedantic. He helped me learn to play the whole fretboard, new chords, fingerpicking, strumming patterns, theory, technique, new songs. He is a pleasure to work with! He is always encouraging and always willing to teach what I wanted to learn. It's rare to find someone both as talented and sincerely modest as Matt.

I am a very flexible and versatile teacher. My strengths lie in my twenty years teaching experience and my positive and encouraging nature.
