Introduction: I seek to educate, train, and generally remind people of their neglected abilities and potential, so they can further progress on their journeys to longevity. Teaching of Shaolin develops physical coordination and focuses the mind, both of which create stronger more flexible bodies -- this is kung fu.
Training includes the Iron Flower Style; it is a martial art, based on the spiraling and twisting movements in the universe which mimic the physics of infinite energy. It is a way of developing a strong body, a disciplined mind, and a soaring spirit. It is a way of being. The actual discipline, when practiced properly looks as soft and gentle as a flower, but contains the strength and power of iron.
I teach a combination of internal styles taught to me by Shijo Taho: Tai Chi, BaGua, Xingyi, and external styles including Lo-Han-Quan-Pai, which emphasizes balance, breathing, and stretching. (Those who are dedicated will surely develop Iron Flower Style).
May the light be with you.
