Jagow Shred Guitar Lessons

Introduction: Learn to play in the style of Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and other great neo-classical and metal artists. Jim Jagow, a master shredder, will teach you how to shred using major and minor scales and sweep-picking arpeggios and will offer finger exercises to build speed. In this 6-week session, you will also earn to play harmonic minor scales in the style of Malmsteen. Instruction is designed to focus your practice towards realistic goals achievable within six to eight lessons. Each lesson provides you with techniques, concepts, and licks to help you play and understand metal soloing at a manageable pace. New licks will be introduced each week to help you towards playing in real musical situations and develop an ear for the differences between players. Instruction will not focus on note reading, but it will offer practical skills which can be applied.
