Charly was great! The food was equally as great! We made a minor (more like major) mistake or requesting Charly for a dinner for 4 people, where we actually needed it for 6! When Charly came over to start preparing, we realized we needed more food! Charly was quick to figure out how to make the courses work out with the food he already brought - he says he always comes prepared with extras! He even had extra menus, so that also worked out! He was also a good sport about stepping out with us on a quick supermarket trip and buy some extra main courses :-). All-in-all, we were impressed by his patience and preparedness even before he started cooking. As for the cooking, he prepared an amazing meal and his presentation of food is incredible! Like going to a Michelin restaurant at home. Hands down the best Chocolate lava cake we've ever had!!! Thanks Charly!!
Chris catered a dinner party at my apartment and everything was top notch. He arrived promptly, had enough time to get organized before the guests arrived, and looked very professional. The presentation of the food was as delicious as it tasted. My friend helped organize the menu and every course was more delicious than the next. I look forward to having him caterer more frequently, as well as teach cooking classes. Chris' professionalism and attentiveness was incredible. Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

Luisa and her staff are so friendly, so welcoming and very attentive to the needs of the client. Luisa has done a fine job in picking her staff and Im extremely happy I hired her company because it was worth every penny.
Whether you are having a small get together for a few or a large gathering, be rest assured that your event will be amazing! Chef Michel is extremely professional, respectful, and friendly! He catered 2 events for our family and we were very pleased with both. The first was a party of nearly 100 people celebrating our son’s college graduation and daughter’s high school graduation. Our second event was a last minute post Thanksgiving weekend family get together for 12-15 people. Everything from the planning, to taste testing, and delivery was on point. Aside from the food being beyond mouth watering delicious, he coordinated with outside vendors to provide everything we needed to make the graduation event beautiful. He also provided on site chefs and wait staff, all of which were professional and attentive to details. They were flexible in their assigned roles and remained past the scheduled time to attend to our guests and clean up. Our home was left as clean as it was when they arrived! Chef Michel prides himself on delivering the best quality and freshest foods possible. Other than a few items that required pre-prep (like marinating / slow cooking...definitely try the roast pork and roast chicken) everything was prepared (cut, fried, cooked, assembled etc) on site. This truly makes a difference when you’re serving items like empanadas or tostones with avocado and shrimp (both highly recommended). Chef Michel is very creative. Whether you choose something from his printed menus, have other items in mind, or even have a special recipe that you want him to prepare...HE CAN DO IT! An important point to make about his catering style is that he is so proud of his creations that he wants everyone to be able to taste everything that he prepares. If you choose an appetizer and you have 100 people, you are not going to get 1 or 2 pieces per person or be charged by the piece, like most caterers. He will make sure you have more than enough for everyone. The same applies to your main course. We had leftovers for ourselves, even after our guests took food home. With all of this said, I truly feel that his prices are fair and reasonable! I could write more and would be more than happy to speak to anyone who has any questions, but I’ll end with...make sure you try his homemade ice creams (our favorites were coconut and pineapple), flan, and especially the sangria!
My husband gave to me one 3-hours-class with Erika! More than a cooking class, I had the opportunity to talk and share ideas with someone that knows a lot about healthy food! That was great and exactly what I was looking for! During the class, I was able to raise all my doubts! Of course we prepared delicious recipes, but more important than this Erika shared all her knowledge! She gave me new ideas to improve my cooking and to prepare better (and delicious) food! Thank you, Erika! It was an amazing experience!

via Melissa, or "Chef Melissa" as we call her, exceeded our expectations! We took her from her usual route of healthy food and asked her to run a cooking class so that children with Celiac Disease could make and enjoy cupcakes on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. She was really flexible and provided what felt and looked like "regular" cupcakes but modified for strict gluten-free compliance and somehow they were a little healthy too! All natural. even organic and dairy-free where possible. The ages of children who attended ranged from 4-12 and she worked really well with everyone! She set up before we (event organizers) arrived and had a friendly helper with her. They were professional but the kids related to them very well. The parents were all pleased and her rate was really reasonable! Our support group doesn't make any money from events like this, parents paid her directly and she was accepting last-minute additions without any worries. I can't think of a single negative - in fact we'd like to work with her again this year! Oh, and she even took the work of finding a location away from us (we're 2 volunteers who run this group for our children and others). Next class, we'll go a little healthier and really take advantage of ALL that via Melissa has to offer our kids! :) Oh, and she's even sending us kid-friendly, healthy and gluten-free recipes for us to share with the families in our group! She really goes above and beyond!

I’ve been working with Dianne for ~2 months now. We’ve had 4 sessions and I’m looking forward to many more! I worked with Dianne to increase my cooking repertoire, improve my skills, and learn how to meal plan. And in just our 4 sessions, I’m happy to say I’ve met those initial goals and I’m already setting new ones. I would, and am, highly recommending Dianne to anybody who is looking to learn some new skills in the kitchen. Dianne is friendly, informative, and encouraging throughout the whole process. Sessions last anywhere from 2-4 hours and we typically make ~3 full meals. Dianne is an incredibly well-rounded chef. We’ve made steaks, spicy chicken and lime soup, and (because she has a background in vegan cooking) even a delicious dairy-free fudge. She’s great at working with allergies and dietary restrictions. Learning how to break-down a whole chicken and properly cut an onion has made my time in the kitchen a lot more fun and plenty less stressful. If you hire Dianne in any capacity, you won’t regret it!
We had an excellent experience with Dena. She was professional, personable and a huge help to have at our BBQ. The food she prepared was delicious, and she served our guests with a smile. We would definitely hire Dena again.
I was fortunate to experience a Thanksgiving Dinner that Alex prepared for a small group of friends. The pumpkin pie and homemade whipped cream were out of this world. The pie was the most delicious pumpkin pie that I have ever tasted. Not to mention, the stuffing, the jalapeño creamed corn and the mac n cheese (just to name of few of the dishes that she served). After my Thanksgiving experience, I hired Alex to cook a dinner for 4 people on a Saturday night. She prepared a steak dinner with a miso butter sauce, roasted sweet potato wedges and sautéed bok choy. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the miso butter sauce melted in your mouth. My steak standards are pretty high and I might even go so far as to say I enjoyed it more than going to the Palm. Alex's cooking is a delightful experience and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for home dinner party chef or preparing pre-cooked meals for the week. Even Alex's homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese are delectable. The range of her capabilities is infinite.
We hired Chef Nirva do cook for at a 25-person brunch at my home in Noho. She was super awesome about customizing the menu to our desires / needs. The food was delicious (and there was plenty of it). I would definitely hire her again.
Chef Craig came to my house to cook dinner for 8 people to celebrate my mother's retirement. He sent me sample menus well in advance of the event and we chose our favorites from those menus. Chef Craig cooked to our preferences while also improvising using his creativity. He was very receptive to those of us who had dietary restrictions (vegetarian, food allergies), and adjusted the courses accordingly. He was easy to work with and the food was fantastic! He and his server left the kitchen spotless and they were both fun to talk to. I would absolutely use him again.
I have hired Chef Jackie Newgent to cater a party of mine in the past; everything she made was so fresh and delicious! All dishes were beautifully presented. I finally had time to take a private cooking class from her and was equally impressed. I now know the right way to hold a chef's knife, slice scallions on a bias and "cream" garlic. Cooking with Chef Jackie is a fun experience! I highly recommend both her personal chef work AND her private cooking lessons!

JP and his team were fantastic and we look forward to working with him again. He catered an event for 120 guests the night before our wedding so it was pretty important to us that it went right! The food was delicious, we still have friends telling us how much they loved it. He really goes above and beyond to ensure a good experience and provided us with many more dishes than we had anticipated. I would absolutely recommend him.
did a cooking class with the chef. He seemed very knowledgeable about technique and quality. He explained everything clearly. Me and my girlfriend had a great time learning how to make new dishes that we still use till this day. Chef Christopher is awesome!

Patrick really knows how to cook for all tastes. For people who can eat anything they want and for people like me on restricted diets. His eggplant "parm" without the cheese was better than the real deal.
We had an amazing meal with Johnny!!! He is unbelievably accommodating and creative. My wife if gluten free and loves lobster, while I love steak - so he did lobster 4 ways and cooked a ribeye for me. Each of the lobster dishes was amazing with flavors that were classic but also each with its own creative twist. We were always surprised and delighted. We couldn't recommend Johnny more.
