FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are $45/hour. If you are planning a beautiful custom choreographed routine to your favorite music where the average routine is 1.5 - 2.5 minutes, it takes anywhere from 4 - 10 hours to complete teaching the steps, clean, and run for memory. Please note that any session under 1.5 hours is a $70 minimum; however, 2 hours is $90 ($45 X 2). Thus, it's more economical to do most everything all in one day. For example, let's say you need a Sweet 16 court dance created for ten people. I recommend 8-10 hours over a weekend such as 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday to make sure all court members show up. Then possibly a clean up the day before the event for 2 hours. My experience of spreading many rehearsals for an hour each overtime is uneconomical; young people won't remember over the week and some kids won't come to all rehearsals for various reasons and then the teacher must re-teach which eats up time and the parents money. For wedding couples, I say again to plan 3 rehearsals back to back; such as a Saturday (3 hours), Sunday (3 hours), and Monday (2 hours) for a total of 8 hours. We'll video tape. You can use the tape for self rehearsal. If you wish, I can come back for a quick clean up rehearsal for two the hours right before the event. So, know that I have your best interest in time and your money.
