Thank you Janice for giving us hope that we can keep our rescue dog Biscuit (a 5 year old Maltese that we rescued). After you spent a few hours with my family, we can already see a huge difference. I'm looking forward to a future with Biscuit - something that was starting to seem impossible given his behavior and propensity to barking, biting, and generally misbehaving. We know that we still have a lot of work ahead of us. But we are amazed at the results after just one session. Thank you so much for your support and guidance. We look forward to continuing to work with you in the future (and especially meeting more of your dogs). A special thanks to whispa for teaching my dog how to be a dog!

Sal was very professional. His home visit proved quite informative and useful for the development of me and my dog's relationship. As a full-time student, I found his rates reasonable and affordable. Once I have developed a more intimate relationship with my dog using the knowledge bestowed onto me by Sal, I expect to request Sal's assistance once more. At that time I'll be hiring Sal to help me teach my dog more complex tricks.

In 3.5 hours our pup was completely changed. We no longer fear that he will bite visitors when they enter the door. He is a much happier puppy now that he knows how to behave and we are having a lot more fun with him. All of the obedience classes that focused on treats and socializing did not work with our pup.The so called Dog Whispers were no help. Don't waste your time or money call Dr. J first.

Alice is an excellent trainer who helped me and my rescue puppy. I was entertaining the possibility of giving my dog back to the shelter because he was biting me and acting unruly. Alice showed me how to deal with these issues and he has gotten so much better. Ruff Love's weekly boot camps and group training helped my dog with socialization and commands. My dog loves Alice and so do I. I recommend Alice to anyone who needs help with their dog!

My dog was on death row at a shelter but was rescued and rehabilitated by Sean at City Wolves. If you met my dog today you'd never believe she had been an aggressive"red zone" case. Sean gave her the socialization, training and love she needed and must not have gotten in her first year. She and my other dog love Sean and he has helped me so much to be a better leader and caretaker for both my dogs so they can relax and just feel at ease. I would highly recommend City Wolves to anyone who is having a challenging time with their dogs.

I began working with Rick about a month ago to assist with my 18-month old pitbull, Petunia. Petunia had become aggressive to strangers (e.g., lunging, barking aggressively) when out in public and in the home and I was very much beside myself with how to address the behaviors. We had attempted obedience training at the pet store which did not correct the problem and she continued to worsen. People were afraid of my little pitty and I was developing a sense of hopelessness and resignation where I no longer even wanted to take her for walks and just figured we would have to live a limited lifestyle with her. As a last ditch effort to address Petunia's aggression, I had a consultation with Rick. He took an hour to meet with us to evaluate her. Petunia aggressively barked and lunged the whole time at Rick, but he thought she could be helped and we signed on for the ride. What a journey it has been. In less than a month, I have a restored sense of hope that Petunia can reach her full potential as a wonderful pet. With several training sessions and several trips to stay with Rick, Petunia is now heeling, is much more under control, is not barking aggressively or lunging on walks, and appears more calm and mellow overall. Rick has also taken much time to continuously meet and/or consult with me and my boyfriend on how to maintain the progress by teaching us how to handle Petunia on our own. We are still in the midst of Petunia's training, but I can see a complete 180 in her and am forever grateful that we made the decision to work with Rick. I highly recommend him without hesitation.

I reached out to Josh for help because my dog would lash out at other dogs when we went for walks, hikes, etc. I was very pleased with his work! He arrived on time, earlier than expected, to really make sure I got the most out of my session. The quality of his work is very professional and you could tell he truly cares about helping you and your dog! He is very knowledgeable in numerous different behavioral issues, which was impressive. He taught me how to take control of my dog and now my dog is doing much better socially. Josh also responded to my emails in a timely mannner when I would have quick questions. I would highly recommend this service!!

I had a Skype consultation with Peter. He is extraordinary and really knows the way dogs act, behave and should be trained. His advice and help really was all the difference in my dogs behavior. I really was my wits end trying to find a good trainer who didn't use food. He has very simple and effective techniques that, when applied consistently, worked like a charm. My dog is on a raw food diet and on the road to being a well mannered member of the family. I don't know what I'd have done with out him! Well, I do actually, I'd have been miserable living with an undisciplined dog! He helped me understand that dog training isnt a temporary fix, it is a life long commitment. Thanks Caine!

Laura was able to pinpoint the main issues and provided specific strategies to help break bad habits and could create a more balanced dog. Our dog is a work in progress, but he's doing much better since we are being more consistent with him.

Rachel has helped immensely improve the relationship I have with my dog. Thanks to Rachel, I can read the body language cues my dog is giving me. She taught me that my dog, Sasha, is uncomfortable when strollers, lawn movers or certain dogs pass, which is why she'll pull the other way or try to eat grass. Rachel is always reliable, professional, friendly, patient and understanding. Above all, she loves my dog, and my dog LOVES Rachel.

I would highly recommended Dorice to anyone looking to train their dogs from basic obedience to more advanced training. She only uses positive techniques and behavioral supports and is very patient and encouraging. My little dog was timid and fearful around other dogs before taking her class. She is now much more confident and even became certified as a therapy dog.

Dennis was fantastic to work with. We recently rescued our dog, Luna, and quickly discovered that while she was a sweetheart around people, she had some dog on dog aggression issues. We were able to leave Luna with Dennis for a weekend while we were away at a wedding. He worked with Luna on her socialization with the help of his dog, and he worked on her leash walking skills. He sent us pictures throughout the weekend and we were happily surprised to see Luna relaxing with another dog! Since being back, we've seen improvement in her walking skills and her reaction to other dogs is less extreme. Most importantly, we have renewed confidence that with time, things will continue to get better. We plan to continue to work with Dennis to make sure that we also have the skills we need to continue to guide Luna in the right direction.

Karen is an awesome dog trainer. First off, she's very reliable and flexible. The amount of energy, knowledge and genuine caring for my dog Bolan that she brought to the training sessions was phenomenal. She made me aware of my tendency to let the dog lead and provided me with great exercises to help me gain more assertiveness, and start to create the behavior and interaction I was hoping for with Bolan. It was obvious in the few minutes that she has a way with dogs. She truly wants to help them do well.

I would highly recommend Howie for puppy and dog training, he is educated and knows exactly what he is doing. In addition he is clearly very passionate and loves what he does. Within the first session we had already made progress and learned what we were doing wrong and what we were doing right. We are so thankful for Howie and his help!

Barrie trained our dog, whom we adopted from a local shelter. She also trained us to be knowledgeable owners. To start the process, she got to know and worked with our dog through a three-day boot camp session, which included a briefing and guidance for us afterward. She then worked with each family member, our dog walker, and our babysitters who interact with our dog, in the comfort of our home. Barrrie now includes our dog in group hikes with other dogs three times a week. She is always available for trouble shooting and ad hoc help. She shows so much compassion for our family, including our new dog. Without her, we could not have responsibly kept our rescued pet because he needed a lot of support for living with a family. He had likely been wandering the streets in another part of the country previously and really needed a loving home. Our original family dog died last year, so we are very happy that we, especially our children, can once again enjoy a beloved family pet.

I have 2 dogs...a Doberman Pinscher (Lexi) and a German Shepherd(Nikita). Erica has worked with both of them and even after one lesson I saw results. Erica began working with Lexi when she was 3-4 months old. We did kindergarden, advanced training and a few agility classes. I went to another place for lessons once (a "gift" from someone) and it made me see how great Erica was! Erica gets to know your dog and tailors the lessons for them whether in a private lesson or group class. For example, she dealt with Lexi's disruptive class behavior by either using her as the example dog or giving her more advanced things to do. She was never angry or punitive. When Lexi became dog aggressive, Erica came and worked with us to help resolve the issue. With Nikita she worked on building her confidence and bringing out her intelligence. (Nikita is young and gets distracted easily) Erica discovers what makes your dog respond (food,,,toys..kisses) and utilizes that to motivate them. No cookie cutter training here! I have recommended Erica to several other people and everyone was pleased.

Leslie is a truly fantastic, professional dog trainer. After some time with dealing with or ignoring my dog's problems it became too much for me and I decided I needed some help. Leslie worked with me not only to train my dog but show me how to train her and show me the way she thinks. Classes were always informative and fun and I feel like I can say I have a better understanding of my dog overall. I am already beginning to see a change with my dog and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again, Leslie!
