Working with Ethan, Kate and the rest of the MixyPaws team was truly a pleasure. Ethan came over to our apartment for a free consultation and got to know our pup. He asked what our goals were in training our dog and recommended a program accordingly; even though it wasn't the program with the most training sessions. The MixyPaws team continually checked in on our progress and offered almost immediate feedback via email when we replied. We eventually hired MixyPaws to walk our dog during the day and Melissa left long and detailed notes outlining how the walks went. Our dog was petrified to walk in the NYC streets when we first got him but after 2 months he's as comfortable as ever, This is a highly professional, organized and authentic service. The MixyPaws team is fully vested in your dog and you always know your dog is in great hands. Highly reccomended.

About

I had worked with several Dog Trainers in NYC before I met Pete, and after working with him I will never use another. I had a bottle fed Pitbull, who had severe aggression issues, and it was coming to a point where I was becoming hopeless. That was until I met Peter Caine. Through his strict obedience training, repetition, and constant vigilance Harley became a different dog. I only recommend Peter Caine to anyone that has a dog in the NYC area. His Board & Train will work wonders. Pete makes training fun, and keeps it simple. He genuinely cares about his clients, and will always make you laugh. For anyone that has a dog, whether it is a puppy, or an older dog with issues Peter Caine is the man for the job. Thanks for everything Pete!

About

We recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a great dog trainer. He clearly loves dogs dearly, and will treat both you and your dog with respect. Moreover, as in the case with our Goldendoodle puppy, he will coach you and teach you how to become the leader your dog needs, so that your dog will be a happy and well-behaved member of your household. If one solution does not work, Tom will find another, until the behavior problem is solved. Tom has also provided invaluable insight into the way dogs think and what motivates them to do the things they do. He is also a great source of information on how to keep our dogs healthy and happy, and we know we can trust his advice. And, Tom is always just a phone call or email away to help with between-visit problems, or to check on progress. Tom is a very pleasant, dependable and knowledgeable trainer, who truly cares about his clients. He is both a dog and dog owner's best friend! We know our dog Bryn is very glad we found Tom, and so are we!

My dog is the result of bad trainers unfortunately. He has a lot of anxiety and fear of eating which triggers his agression. What I learned from the previous trainers actually added to his fears and anxiety. I was fortunate enough to meet Evee Linden and with a short conversation she had my Grizzly figured out. She always makes herself available night and day and answers any questions you might have. She's gentle and kind and you can see her love for dogs as she works with them. Evee helps you understand everything that is going on with your dog so that you have a good understanding and see why your dog is behaving in that manner. Your bond becomes stronger and you learn exactly what to do and what not to do. By the end of the training session your dog will be kissing her because they love her as do all her clients. I highly recommend her, she's gentle and completely force free. Her knowledge of dogs is unlike no other. I wish I had met her sooner!

About

I am an animal lover with free time (recent grad looking for work) and no pets (landlord is not having it!). So, until I get that house/yard in the suburbs, I'll walk your dog(s) and look after them when you're unavailable.
