Super knowledgeable about the instrument. Extremely gifted player. His lessons help me see and practice the instrument differently, and so much of what I have learned in the last two years I credit to him.

When we were both in Berklee, Michael was already one of the best guitar players I’ve met (better than most of the school’s professors... ), always reminding me of how good a guitar can sound and why I should practice more. It was an honor having him as a teacher.
He is very organized, keeping track of everything and has a very creative and innovative approach to the instrument. He is a very complete musician, with a lot to teach about technique, improvisation and theory.
Not to mention that he charged a fraction of the price that musicians of his league would charge.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for good musical education.

Mike is AWESOME! he meets you at your point of need and points you in a direction towards your end goal/playing style. He is a strong advocate for building a strong foundation because it then allows you to have complete control over your instrument which then makes the possibilities endless. He is a KILLER player, extremely educated, and gives great instruction that becomes instantly valuable.
