Signing up with NBI Fitness is probably one of the best things I could've ever done for myself. Trinnie and Gilbert are great and are currently helping me reach my dream health/body goals. The trainers truly care about their clients and are always pushing me to make sure I am doing all that is necessary to lose weight, tone up and build a healthy life style for myself. They also tell you what you should and should not be eating according to your fitness goal. Most importantly, I work and go to school full time therefore, it is difficult to work out with such a hectic schedule, BUT they literally make sure to work with whatever times works best for me even if its going out of their way. The cost, overall results and amazing customer service is really worth it and would recommend NBI Fitness to anyone who wants to tone up, lose weight, and get on track with their fitness goals.

Working with Kathy is awesome- I do see myself working with her for a long time. Love her coaching and encouragement as well. Kathy, trianing is all about proper form and no injury! I came to Boston in 2012 as a grad student, not inspired to exercise, eat healthy, or focus on my well-being. I knew something was wrong, because I realized I was becoming lethargic, depressed, and uninspired. I gained a lot of weight the year before I came to Boston, weighing up to 180 lbs max. With a 27% body fat and the BMI certainly in the overweight category, I knew I had to do something, but I did not know what, how, or even why I had to exercise. Anna reached out to me one day while I was attempting to work out. She was incredibly genuine and interested in me from the first time she met me. After the first free session, I was hooked. Her personality, her enthusiasm for fitness, and her dedication were apparent from the beginning and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I never felt like I was judged (I couldn't even do one push-up), and I knew she had my health interests as hers and had been incredibly patient with the progress I've made. That was two years ago. Fast forward to today, I am hovering around 15% body fat, I weigh 142 lbs, and the BMI is in the normal category. Now I can do multiple sets and repetitions of push-ups. I am still with Anna and plan to be as long as we are both in the same city, which is a testament in how every session, I feel inspired to take care of my health. I am much stronger, fit, leaner, and confident than I was two years ago. In those two years with Anna, she had taught me one thing that exceeds in importance any sit-up, push-up, or pull-up I do: I am in control of my own health. I am certainly not done with my fitness goals. Being fit, stronger, and leaner is a never-ending goal, but knowing Anna is at my side, I can turn my goals into reality. Thank you Anna!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about MFG. I have PCOS and as a result, losing the weight has been tougher than ever. I’ve tried various trainers and other exercise regiments over the years. Nothing worked and nothing could help keep me motivated. Fast forward to me finding MFG. Within a day of posting a search for a trainer, Erika from MFG reached out. Erika was so thoughtful, easy to talk to, and dedicated to setting me up with a trainer that could work best with me. Moreover, my schedule tends to be utterly inconsistent and all over the place. Despite it taking me a couple of month to sign up (I had surgery shortly after talking to Erika), I was so focused on getting my health and fitness back on the track to wellness. Even during my surgery and hospitalization, Erika sent me text messages that gave me motivation and support. Truly, Erika, if you’re reading this, that meant the world to me! Once I got clearance to workout, I was set up with Ashley, who in one word is AWESOME. She has PCOS too, so she’s able to give me tips about eating a clean diet that’s good for PCOS sufferers. On top of that, Ashley is so flexible with what times and days she can come by. As someone who thought they hated to workout, thanks to Ashley, I genuinely look forward to post-workout soreness. She got a girl who works 12+ hour days, to work out 6x a week. In short, i can’t say enough wonderful things about MFG. They’re truly caring, super- knowledgeable, motivating and life-changing!

Had the pleasure of working with Toni a couple of years ago. Extremely patient and very understanding with my needs. She never made me feel as if I wasn't losing the weight that she expected and always gave me great guidance. She always had time to listen to my struggles throughout the week and was never judge mental on my failures. She always encourage me to do better and I felt as if she was more of a friend then a coach. I would always recommend Toni to anyone that needs help losing weight and maintaining it off....

I have been putting off writing this review because I dont know how to put into words how amazing George is, if I could give him 10 stars I would! In the last half of 2016 and most of 2017 I was dealing with a lot of medical issue that wound up effected my body and muscles a lot (I was always in pain)! I always had some pounds to lose however I was able to work out and keep it under control until 2016 when it all began and I was put on certain meds for almost a year. When I started with George my whole body would ache all the time and I was dealing a lot back issues AND trust issues regarding anything that involved my health including exercise! Not only did he prove that he knew what he was doing he figured out exercises that would not hurt my back but still make it stronger, and anything he didn't know he researched. Since working with George my back pain has decreased significantly, my body hardly hurts anymore, I feel stronger, im able to work out 4 times a week, and I have lost almost 30 pound, all this in less than 6 months (and it would probably be more if I didn't cheat as often as I do). I was not your typical person looking for a trainer to just tone up or lose a few pounds I needed more help than that and he has gone above and beyond expectations!! He tailors my workouts to me, I am never board, he does not except excuses, however truly cares! He is extremely knowledgeable and always strives to be better and you can tell he truly loves what he does, I cannot recommend him enough!!

Pierre is a total professional. He knows about cardio, strength and flexibility, also he understands injuries and how to get you back on your feet fast after a slip on the snow and ice. He is quite creative; he came up with a "boxing" routine that keeps me working out hard and feeling motivated. He will always "tweak" the workout to keep you interested. Very motivating to work with Pierre, who always coaches and trains in a very positive, warm way. Always on time, Pierre is a trainer who goes well beyond training...he refers to nutritionists when necessary, always thinking of what his client needs. I highly recommend Pierre!

I started going to Erika for pre-natal training, and continue to go to her over a year after having the baby. During my pregnancy, she was amazing to work with and very knowledgeable of safe (yet effective) workout techniques that prepared and made my body stronger for delivery, as well as benefited my overall health. Post-baby, she has helped to get my body back to where it was before and creates a workout plan tailored to fit your individual needs. She's patient, and will never make you do something you don't feel comfortable doing as her ultimate goal is to see you succeed! I'd definitely recommend her!

During the six weeks that I worked with Melissa, she was a constant sounding board, making herself available whenever I had questions or needed motivation. She provided ongoing inspiration and really tapped into the issues specific to my current lifestyle. I've struggled with my weight for the better part of my life, and Melissa was the first person I've encountered who cut through all the noise from the fad diets I'd looked to as an answer in the past. I've been using Chris as my trainer for a few years now and hes just terrific! At 3X per week he was able to get me to attain my fitness goals and loose the weight I gained over the holidays. I recommend him to anyone that has a health and fitness marker to hit he also helped my with my cholesterol levels and reasonable things I could do to help cut the weight quickly. I herniated a disk in my lower back many years ago. Since I've been training with him we do a few things every session for my back and it hasn't bothered me since we have been working together.

How much does a nutritionist cost?

A nutritionist provides expertise and guidance to help clients with all diet-related health matters, including losing weight, gaining muscle, improving their sports performance, and managing diabetes or high cholesterol. Nutritionists can help people learn to follow special diets in a healthy way, such as becoming vegetarian or vegan or developing a low-sodium or gluten-free eating plan. The average national cost of a nutritionist is $60 to $100. Are nutritionists covered by health insurance?

Nutrition counseling can be a critical component of good health care, especially for people recently diagnosed with diabetes or high cholesterol who need to adhere to a specific diet. People also meet with nutritionists for help developing a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet, developing an eating plan to lose weight or gain muscle, or improving their sports performance by changing their diet. Nutritionists may be covered by health insurance depending on your reason for meeting with them. Nutrition counseling is more likely to be covered if it is part of a doctor-prescribed treatment for a particular medical condition, such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure or coronary heart disease. For example, Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy services only for people diagnosed with diabetes or kidney disease, as long as they get a referral from their doctor. Also, insurance providers more often cover nutrition visits if the patient has been referred to a registered dietitian within the carrier’s network of providers. Insurance plans vary greatly, so research your benefits before visiting a nutritionist.

What is a holistic wellness coach?

When you want to reach new heights with your health and wellness, consider hiring a holistic wellness coach. Much like a health coach, a holistic wellness coach is focused on your well-being and meets with you in one-on-one sessions to help you identify and reach your targeted goals. A holistic wellness coach will typically have you take all components of your life into account when working to achieve your goals. If your goal is to lose weight, a holistic wellness coach will not only offer recommendations for your diet and exercise, but also discuss your emotional health, your work/life balance, your spiritual side, and each area of your life that affects your ability to follow a nutrition and fitness plan.

Although they are highly motivational and often can help clients achieve great results, holistic wellness coaches are not professional health care providers or registered dietitians.
