Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Personal Training (1-on-1) and Semi-Private Training (4 people max) I provide Functional Strength Training and Nutrition Coaching so you can look, feel, and perform your best every day in life and sport. My training methods are rooted in barbells, bodybuilding, and sports performance. From a pure science standpoint, there's no better way to build muscle, burn fat, prevent injury, and boost sports performance. Ultimately, I train you to get stronger and enjoy fitness so you can feel great about yourself. Is there a better feeling than that? As a coach, I’m here to guide you to reach your full potential. I believe that no one person is the same, but there's an athlete in all of us at any age. I aim to motivate people to be mindful of their athletic ability and use it to achieve any goal they truly want. I coach you to be an athlete, then I coach you to be a better athlete, and not just an athlete for a season, but an athlete for life. I take a habit-based, scientifically-proven approach to fitness that is personalized for each person I coach. I teach you how to live a fitness-forward lifestyle that is intelligent, sustainable, and results in steady improvement. I'm only successful when my clients are successful. This is personal training, so I want to understand my clients lifestyle and how it affects their training and health in positive or negative ways. A client pays for my coaching and this goes beyond just the time I spend with them during our in-person lessons. I will always make myself available to my clients any time they have questions or need guidance. With the abundance of information available, I help you filter thru the information that is best suited for your goals and cut out the nonsense. I love introducing clients to new exercises or exercises they've avoided doing for one reason or another. I'm big on technique and movement and it's a remarkable process seeing a client go from beginner to advanced. The training wheels come off and they make rapid progress. As they get better, they have more fun. It's easier to get someone to do something they enjoy. I also like that every client is different and requires a unique approach. This allows me to pull from a wide array of knowledge. I love the fitness industry because it allows me daily opportunities to learn more and grow my skills. The benefits of growing my knowledge daily gets passed on to my clients. The learning never stops for coaches or clients. I am your resource to ask questions without fear, to share and gain knowledge, to discuss, and to challenge and better each other in the process. I look forward to helping you become your fittest. It’s worth it, but don’t take my word for it, find out for yourself.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience training with Dustin. He is a thoughtful, engaged coach who leads by example and is truly dedicated to helping his clients grow stronger, both physically and personally. His extensive experience in fitness allows him to work successfully with all levels of athletic ability, from the absolute novice (me) to peak performers (aspirational me). Dustin has a unique ability to coax the hidden athlete out of just about anyone, and no one was more surprised than I was to discover I could actually like, and look forward to, working out. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to train with Dustin, and grateful to him for showing me the positive impact that fitness can have on one's life.

My experience with Modern Athletics was simply a weight training class that I took at my university. However, in that short experience, Dustin Hassard made a very big impact on my weight training habits and personal habits as well. Dustin was very professional and not only gave us tips about how to lift bigger, and better but he also gave us life tips on how to improve our health in the future. Lessons ranged from supplements to diets to healthy habits. I appreciated every lesson we had with Dustin and I really appreciated his sense of humor as well. He made every class and every lesson fun in some way. What I appreciated most was Dustin’s awareness to everybody’s differences. Most trainers/strength coaches will just tell you that certain foods and habits are bad and to completely cut them out of your life no questions asked, especially in such a short time we had him. Dustin made it clear that some habits are harder to kick than others and worked with us in ways we can cut down, while still working to achieve our desired goals. It is hard to make permanent life choices on a 15 week course but Dustin assured us that we can still see improvements in our health in such amount of time and always supported us to work at those bad habits. Most importantly, he never made anybody feel bad about themselves, or their habits. Which is so important to me because a lot of people have to deal with feeling bad about themselves because of trainers, random people, friends, family, etc. so having somebody work with you while making you feel good about yourself is extremely valuable and endearing. Some of the key things i picked up from Dustin were that 1) health is something you shouldn’t just ignore because you will never be at your best if you have unhealthy habits, even simple things such as getting enough hours of sleep. And 2) always do what’s best for your own body. People always say “take this supplement” or “do this diet” or “do this workout plan” but if it’s not right for your specific body then it won’t work. He taught us to find what works for us by experimenting and then once we find it, to stick with it. Don’t just do what somebody else said works for them and expect the same exact results because everybody has different body types and process things differently. 10/10 recommend Modern Athletics to anybody looking to get healthier. 10/10 recommend Dustin Hassard as a trainer/personal coach and even as just a friend.

I was fortunate enough to have Dustin as my trainer while he was at Snap Fitness in Pullman, WA. I found him to be very knowledgeable, motivating and encouraging! He taught me how to weight-lift correctly and effectively, and created a workout plan for me, taking into account my injuries and limitations. He made working out fun! I looked forward to going to the gym with a plan, knowing exactly what I would be working on that day, and what my long term objectives were! I would recommend Dustin to anyone who is interested in learning how to work out more effectively, as opposed to just showing up at the gym day in and day out, doing the same (ineffective) routine over and over. He will listen to your goals and objectives, help create a plan for you, and guide you all the way to success!!

I trained with Dustin for about 5 months. Although it was a relatively short period of time, I improved my physical condition a lot. I strongly recommend you training with Dustin
