I was introduced to Mike in 2019 through my previous personal trainer during a time when I was training at one of New York City's popular gyms. During that time I had the opportunity to interact with him and got to witness some of his techniques. After the pandemic forced all gym facilities to close, I approached him by email and we started training sessions virtually using minimal equipment at home. Over time (and once allowed) we transitioned more sessions using a smaller private gym facility (per my request) so I could incorporate more gym equipment into my training. From our initial sessions to the present, Mike has integrated in our training schedule various consultations where we get to discuss modifications in the program in reference to my long term goals regarding weight loss, while increasing overall strength and conditioning. Other subjects we get to discuss vary from modifications targeting my specific nutrition plan, to supplements, to ways for the body to enhance effective testosterone production especially for those of us who have deficiency. As part of the program, Mike has been providing me with information through different links/articles to discuss specific questions/issues that have transpired over the past year in my program evolution. Very pleased to say seeing results is extremely rewarding with his program! Mike's professionalism and sensitivity to work with specific client needs make him an excellent personal trainer." Oscar BF

Ive known Mike for about 5 years and he is the best trainer Ive ever known. In the past I felt that other trainers had a limited understanding of the body. Mike has taken the time to understand how the body works and how each client can benefit from strength training, agility, flexibility at their own level. He is very patient and wholly committed to training and his own personal growth and understanding. During the entire year of the pandemic I practiced what I learned from Mike - kettle bells, squats, deadlifts, among other exercises and it was a lifesaver. Now Im back working out in person with him and Its fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Mike as a trainer, a professional and just a terrific person.

I had the pleasure to work along side Mike for over 5 years. He wasn't just my colleague, he was also my personal trainer. (Yes, everyone needs a trainer. Even a trainer.)As a personal trainer myself, I have a really hard time following my own training program. I get caught up in my personal and professional bias. I knew I had to consult another fitness professional for a different perspective so I called up Mike.He created a personalized training program (no cookie cutter bs) for me since I had specific goals of getting stronger and I also have a meniscus tear. With his guidance, within the first four weeks in, I felt stronger and pain-free! I was hooked by the strength effect. I followed another four week program and I was able to hit my all time personal best in my deadlift! If you're looking for a trainer that will help you achieve your fitness goals, Mike is THAT guy!

I only started training 15 months ago when I was 16 years old. I started integrating the basics of strength, conditioning and bodybuilding techniques. Simultaneously I began to drastically improve my diet which included reducing sugar, simple carbs and processed foods and increasing my intake of lean proteins and complex carbs. My primary goals were to reduce body fat, gain strength, increase muscle mass and to meaningfully transform my body. I began this journey being 57 tall, 165lbs with an initial body fat measured at approximately 25%.My training with Mike started the summer of 2020 from my home gym primarily utilizing video conferencing and when possible several in-person sessions. The video conferencing training has worked seamlessly. With Mike in my corner my knowledge of the science behind various training methods, proper and safe technique and nutrition has vastly expanded. Mike has tailored training plans to meet my goals. His subject knowledge and years of experience enhance his ability to create very challenging yet achievable training programs. The programs typically run for several weeks and we have focused on specific areas such as strength training focused on legs/glutes/core while other programs have included a full-body emphasis coupled with conditioning and muscle mass growth. Weve done loading and de-loading series and have employed many different exercises which always keep things interesting.Since training with Mike, Ive seen a huge acceleration in my results. My weight has declined from a soft 165lbs to a solid 140lbs. My bodyfat has declined 40% to approximately 15%, my waist has dropped from a 32 inch to 30 inch. Ive transformed myself and have found that I actually do have abs & lats!! The improvement in my strength has been phenomenal, most notably measured by a 70% increase in my deadlift to 315lbs. We have lots more to accomplish and the next phase will focus on continuing to add muscle mass to fill out my frame.

Mike is a dedicated individual who caters and thrives upon the ability to help others achieve their fitness goals, no matter their background. Having worked with Mike for over 3 years, Ive pushed past the plateau that often plagued my fitness/athletic goals. Be it in groups or 1:1, Mikes attention to movement, form, and function is top-notch. He delivers his training with a sense of empathy and enthusiasm not seen in many other trainers. Nothing feels repetitious and Ive been able to develop a sense of confidence and ability and strength I didnt think was possible at this point in my life. I would highly recommend consulting and working with Mike if you are looking for real and lasting change.
