Introduction: I have been a certified personal trainer/ sports nutritionist for over 10 years now. I have worked for the Equinox organization and when Covid hit, I exclusively became a VIRTUAL, LIVE, ONE ON ONE TRAINER. At 73 years young, I'm in the best shape of my life, physically and mentally!!!! It is my passion to help others as I have helped myself. I have struggled with my weight, poor nutrition, sleep, low energy, hydration, low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, perimenopause, menopause, post menopause, midlife tummy spread, stress fractures, IBS, and lactose intolerance. I don't just "talk the talk", I am living proof that if I can do it, you can too. NO GYM, NO MACHINES, NO WEIGHTS, NO BANDS....NO PROBLEM!! We will use "equipment" you have in your homes (tote bags, backpacks, water bottles, broom, chair, and towel). Sharon is an all around great trainer. She really listens to what your concerns and issues are then tailors workouts to address them. She is very encouraging and all about positive thinking. She also is very mindful should you have any physical limitations and will not give you any exercise that would cause further harm. Very positive experience!

I was lucky enough to train with Sharon for two years from 2018 until 2020 (when COVID hit). It was a great experience! Sharon is super knowledgeable in both fitness and nutrition, high-energy, and fun - I always looked forward to our sessions, which made sticking to a workout plan a lot easier! Every routine we did was different, and within a couple of months I was leaner and toned. Another thing I really appreciated about Sharon was that, unlike some of the trainers I've had in the past, she never asked me to do anything super crazy or painful/likely to cause injury. The goal was simply to look and feel better with sensible exercises that don't kill your joints. Training with Sharon will get you in great shape, I'd highly recommend it!

Sharon is more than just a trainer. She is like the best parts of a psychotherapist, nutrition counselor, physical therapist, and friend all rolled into one! She not only makes sure that you get the best in fitness training for your particular age and circumstances, but she cares about you as a whole person—from how you’re feeling physically to any injuries or pains you’re experiencing, to what your nutrition and eating habits are, to how you’re doing emotionally and mentally. She supports every component of her clients’ well-being because she’s keenly aware that it is all of these intricate parts of us—not just how many reps we can do at what weight—that make up the overall picture of our health and fitness. I never liked working out in the past, but because of her approach and her caring and compassionate nature, I truly enjoy working with Sharon and actually look forward to our sessions! It's why I've stuck with her for years and why, even in middle-age, I'm in the best shape of my life!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer 2 packages; Package 1- 30 minutes personal training with sports nutrition counseling if desired. PRICE....$50.00 Package 2- 60 minutes personal training with sports nutrition counseling if desired. PRICE....$100.00 with a 10% discount = $90.00

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I offer a COMPLEMENTARY SESSION to ascertain your fitness level and nutritional and medical issues with EVERY potential client. (This is done via Zoom or FaceTime). We take small steps, making small changes as we go along on our journey, so my client is not overwhelmed. I have wonderful patience and great concern for my clients as well. Together, my client and I will go through the consultation form, discuss health issues, eating/nutrition, stress, sleep, hydration, daily steps, and goals. FITNESS GOALS; age healthy, able to play with grandkids, boost energy and stamina, lose weight, build muscle and strength.
