Sarah has been our girls teacher for the last 7 years. What is unique about Sarah is that she combines creative elements with traditional practice, making sure students make connections to the music in the broader sense. It is not just about learning the notes and acquiring technical ability but ensuring young students internalize and integrate the music and sounds and feelings associated with it into their practice and performance.

We will discuss the music background and goals for the student(s), setup trial lessons, and then the student(s) can decide to sign up for ongoing lessons. The terms are Summer (June-August), Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May).

Ph.D. Music Composition, M.M. Music Technology, B.M. Music Education. 25 years teaching experience.
