Richard is awesome. He is extremely patient and helps enhance your strengths. He focuses on the little details that have helped me get better in just 2 lessons.
I decided to play golf again after a 20 year layoff, so basically I was starting from scratch. I spent a lot of time at a golf range and watching a lot of YouTube videos. That helps up to a certain point but after not seeing much improvement I decided to find a golf pro who could help me. After searching on the internet and doing my due diligence I decided on Joe Ubil at the Plainfield West 9 Golf club. It was the best golfing decision I've made. Joe has a great golfing background, is an excellent teacher, is very personable and takes his time to fully explain the intricacies of the golf swing. I recently played a round of golf and although I'm not ready for the PGA tour (and never will be!) I was pleased with my vast improvement. I credit Joe with making me enjoy the game once again. You can't go wrong if you decide on him to help you with your game. Thanks Joe!
We do not try to mold everyone into one swing model. We test each student to see how they move naturally and help them build a repeatable swing built around their strengths.
Coach Todd is awesome! He's really helping me learn the game of golf. He has amazing ways of teaching that I really understand. In fact, my dad is going to take lessons from him now. ~ Zach (12).
Lee from Drop More Putts was a true professional and wizard with the golf club. He provided very effective and brilliant commentary on how to improve. I was a true beginner and he made me feel very confident and comfortable. A very good coach that I will be using for quiet a while I believe.
I spent several years dreading playing golf because I had a horrible slice. I assumed it was due to the number of years playing baseball. However, after one lesson with Steve I found my swing. I'm now hitting the ball square on a consistent basis and shooting lower scores than I thought I was capable of. I recommend taking lessons with Steve if you are looking to improve your game.
I have been teaching golf for 30 years and have success with all levels of coaching. Punctual, with the best interests of the pupil at heart. British sense of humor.

In addition to some of the finest public golf courses in the country, Bethpage offers many other amenities. There is a fully stocked, professional-level golf pro shop in the expansive clubhouse, practice greens, a driving range, and lessons from our resident PGA pro and director of golf, Joe Rehor, PGA assistant golf pro, Ron Faiella, and Jimmy Lee. Golf Coach Direct provides a live, real-time online golf lesson teaching platform and recording center for golf professionals and students to meet anytime from anywhere. At Golf Coach Direct, you can meet with our team of PGA professionals live on the computer after every round. Each lesson lasts up to 10 minutes and costs as little as over $20, and you can take them when you want to! Our flexible schedule tells you when each professional has set aside time to teach live over the internet! Everyone gets better over time, but improvement can be accelerated in a variety of ways. Most people arrive at the course without any real form of preparation. They have a few swing keys that have worked for them before, but they are generally unreliable and confusing. Some people are mentally defeated before they tee off. Have you ever felt like you arent sure about what you are doing out there? For Example, if you were to pay $100 for a traditional lesson with a professional, he is going to give you a one-time lesson based on how you were swinging that day. In order to get an analysis of your progress, you need to invest another $100 for another lesson. Now, you have spent $200 dollars, and all you have gotten is 1 series of advice and feedback on the results of the 1st series. While traditional golf lessons have tremendous value if taught well, this is a solution not all golfers can afford. With GCD, that same $200 could get you 10 different live lessons with a PGA professional. Think of it as a totally different approach to golf. It is almost like cliff notes. You will be getting rid of the fluff (the chatting before and after the lesson, the loosening up, the video camera and range commute), the sweat (working on your game) and the tears (playing badly after the lesson), and you will be focused solely on the information you need to make you a better player. For the technology requirements, all you need is a digital version of your swing, a phone line and access to the internet. How does it work? It works by following these directions: 1. Record swings using either a digital camera or cell phone video. 2. Join Golf Coach Direct, and upload swing clips in any format. 3. Purchase lessons. 4. Book live lessons with a coach in advance or instantaneously. 5. Watch lesson replay as reminder. 6. Print personalized game plan to bring to the course.

I love teaching golf. I gain satisfaction from seeing my clients' golf swing steadily improve, providing them with results in their golf games. As a well-versed athlete in many sports, I have perfected a creative approach to coaching. I build upon the strengths of my clients' individual muscularity and mental aptitude to create a consistent and powerful golf swing. I understand how people learn in sports and am able to communicate the fundamentals of golf to anyone, including scratch golfers, high handicappers, beginners, juniors, kids, and seniors. Through my fun, relaxed and creative teaching style, I am able to produce results for my clients in the form of lower scores and more satisfaction with their own performance.
The indoor golf simulator lesson experience has all the benefits of the outdoor experience and more. Where you learn will influence how fast you learn and how much you retain. The truth is we jump to the first tee without the skill to play, just the means to pay. If we are patient in our preparation through lessons and skillful practice, the test of golf on the course is not a test at all but a validation of how hard we worked and our golf know-how. The primary goal is ball control. Once this is achieved by utilizing the tour standard grip, hand action, posture and swing position sequence, every club becomes an extension of your skills, from putter to driver. My talent as a golf instructor is best expressed when my students become self-correcting and self-instructional. Every lesson is followed by an e-mail recap of the session. This allows for the integration of what we try to achieve on the lesson tee with what we can draw from memory on demand. I strive to make learning and practicing the game as much fun as playing the game. These endeavors should be equal contributors to the total golf experience. One hundred percent improvement is guaranteed.
