Heather L. says, "My daughter has been taking classes at Stook U Music for about a month, and we’ve had a great experience. They’ve been incredibly patient with her as she learns—and with me as well. When our second month started, my card was declined due to my bank issuing a new one. Instead of disrupting her lessons, they reached out to me directly and assured me that going forward they would contact me if there was ever an issue, rather than removing her from class. That level of communication and understanding really stood out. They were kind and patient throughout the entire process and even went above and beyond by helping me explore lessons for myself—offering discounts, options, and following up with zero pressure. It’s clear they genuinely care about their students and families. I highly recommend Stook U Music."

Samuel K. says, "My lessons with Harrison have been going really well. I came back to piano after a long break, and I’ve been enjoying the learning approach a lot. The structure works well with a busy schedule, which makes it much easier to stay consistent. I really like the focus on learning chords and the language of music instead of just memorizing sheet music. It feels like the difference between being shown one thing to play versus learning the fundamentals so you can figure things out on your own. In the past, I would focus on a single piece, repeat it until I could play it well, and then move on. Now it feels like I’m building a foundation that will let me pick things up much faster and play my own versions of songs. I’m especially looking forward to being able to sit down at the piano, hear something, and feel comfortable improvising, playing by ear, and jamming. Having that flexibility and freedom at the piano is exactly what I’m excited to develop."

Summiah Laviba says, "Helen is a highly experienced performer and teacher with a deep understanding of music and technique, but what stands out most is how she tailors everything to you. As an adult learner with six years of violin experience from high school, I was a little nervous about starting something new. However, from the first lesson, she took the time to understand how I learn, what kinds of pieces Im drawn to and how to understand music structurally. Because of my violin background, I carried tension into my wrist at the piano, but Helen noticed right away and helped me fix it so playing felt more natural.Helen is super patient and easy to talk to, but she also knows exactly when to push me out of my comfort zone. When a piece feels too hard, she breaks it down and helps me build the confidence to get through it. If youre looking for someone who knows her stuff, makes learning fun, and supports you every step of the way, no matter your age or experience, Helens the one."
